The Ocean - Summer Breeze 2024 - ARTE Concert

- Опубликовано: 19 ноя 2024

Loïc Rossetti is a absolutely phenomenous singer!
Really? It's all pretty nasal and out of time to me.
despite beeing a big the ocean fan, I also think Loic isn't such a great singer.
I like his mellow calm voice when singing the softer parts, there's a lot of soul in his voice.
I kinda dislike his shouts/growls, they are very one dimensional compared to other extreme singers.
What Loic always delivers is furious stage presence, you got to give him that.
Loved The Ocean back in the day when there were many different guest singers on the albums and vocal tandems on stage, like Mike Pilat and Nico Webers who complemented each other perfectly.
@@m.j.4685 Well the problem is basically, that he can not produce the studio sound live, voice related.
@@m.j.4685I love his vocals. Great stage presence as well, but I understand where you’re coming from. Sounds like he may be leaving soon anyway.
@@exhainca Is it fuck.
Great underrated band definitely
This concert was live so amazing. It literaly felt like swimming in the ocean for an hour.

Pleistocene

Gran banda y excelente sonido:
Saludos desde Chile.
Love them, but they should go easy on the smoke machines. Saw them once in a Club... And by "saw" I mean I've heard which direction the music was coming from, the rest was dense fog.
i´ve been listening to you over the summer without knowing that you were in concert... that ride moved me... i wonder if we were connected... it's possible...
S tier post metal band. Always amazing live. 🖤
Fuck amazing - hi from Brazil - love THE OCEAN!!!!
This venue did Loic dirty by having the crowd so far away from the stage. The guy loves to stagedive.
He did it like 5 times in a tiny concert hall in Portland, OR.
Seen them for the first time in 2011 opening for btbam and JFAC. They stole the show, atmospherically and energetically. Loved them ever since.
I was there at the Star Theater too. One of the best shows I had ever been to.
Just insane! Awesome musicians, awesome creative minds, highly talented and overall great guys!
Always a Pleasure to see The Ocean. Thx for sharing it Arte. and Loved your Bus. :)
Great band.. saw them live in Dublin a couple of years ago and it was awesome
Absolut geil! Ich hab immer noch Ohrwürmer.
Great band.. saw them live in Dublin a couple of years ago and it was great!
Was there in Whelan's 🤘
Danke Arte! ♥️
just what I needed today
Amazing band!
So gut, Danke Arte!
Cool name..my group is called the puddle🤘🏻
currently best band in the world!
The sound mixing is terrible on the first song
yep, thanks god after it becomes normal
Yeah I'm glad I kept listening though. Always an amazing full performance!
The full dark tranquillity's performance had a terrible sound mixing even pain but the only one I thought that had a good sound was Lordi 😢
Bad compression parameters adjustments (limiter threshold, attack and release with the mix bus master) at the beginning, the kick destroys the rest...
Up until Pleistocene the sound was super shitty. What happened with Summer Breeze? All uploads suck hard so far lol
@32:29 which song is that? :)
Pleistocene
sounds like Jonathan Davis sometimes amazing
Mixing is a bit underwhelming
Seriously, what a bummer. The kick is eating up half the mix, guitars are nowhere to be found
good band but very bad sound on this video ^^
Too much compressed, horrible. I am a sound engineer and I can't listen that fucking shit...a pity to destroy the music with bad parameters adjustments !
well, the sound improves during the show, it becomes listenable...
@@titiracoon267Unfortunately this is how festival gigs go for a lot of bands. The sound guy just has a preset for EQ and compression and you often don't get a soundcheck.
i do love this band, but those clean vocals are terrible. maybe he just had a bad night, cause hes all over the place
I agree. When I read your comment I thought you were a little too harsh on the singer but at the last song it was very evident he had a rough night.
@@pablomontesinos6852 definitely. ironically that's my fave song of theirs haha
@@dan0nada754 mine too! Haha!
He does have better nights than others. Check out some of their other performances, such as this one @ Roadburn Redux, where he does an awesome job throughout imo ruclips.net/video/1l30LbiC2xg/видео.html
Like if you think The Ocean was great the first few albums and is currently awful 🎉
Precambrian, Heliocentric and Anthropocentric are among my favourite metal albums of all time, without a doubt.
Post Pelagial I'm struggling to find any time to give those albums a 6th chance, Pelagial and back through the catalogue I'm all in.
NAh, awful is Muse, Arctic monkeys or Leprous, they are still OK.
Well, it's fine if you don’t like them. I’m on the other side, I love their latest albums, but I don’t really care for the first ones. And that’s okay, there is music and albums for everyone
Bands aren't allowed to evolve don't you know?! 😂
No timestamps so this concert didn't actually happen 😢
