it isn't just about last night's performance. Despite doing a great job, Americans are consistently giving Biden a low approval rating. Biden is running neck and neck with the ugliest candidate ever. I think it is stupid for so many people to think this way but I also think it is stupid of us to keep ignoring these opinions.

That also said that BLM was conducting mostly peaceful protest & on & on. He's been the prez & did none of the things he's accused of. I can see the proof of "Bidenomics when ever I go to buy groceries or buy gas ($5.39 in CA) or see my friend who makes a good living wage living in a 2 room apartment because he can't afford to buy a house. i can understand why you hate Trump & think the worse of him.

It is not a few bad days. It is so obvious that Biden has been declining for the last two years. Watch a video of him from 2019 or 2020. He is not the same man. Anyone can see that. Newsom's loyalty should be to the American people and democracy, not to a man who is lying to himself and the American people. The emperor is not wearing any clothes. We all see that. I'm a lifelong Democrat in Wisconsin and I see it clear as day, as painful as it is. We cannot worry about man's feelings. We must worry about our country and democracy.

The moderators sucked. Every time they asked a questions to Trump, he started with "Let me go back to the topic before" and they should've immediately cut him off and said, "We aren't on that topic anymore. Here's the question we asked just now"
And that was a great tactic because they were not allowing rebuttals on purpose to make a person forget the thought they were having in response to the question prior. He used his time wisely. Sometimes addressing the question in his time directly and sometimes using his time for rebuttal. Your people made the rules they found the loopholes. Your loss stupid.
Trump asked early if he could respond to one of Biden's allegations, and the moderators said "you can only rebut when you are asked the next question". So he did exactly as instructed.

It was an unfortunate performance from Biden, but Trump showed his true colors as a liar with no substance. Look at the records, not the performance in a poorly devised format with no fact checking during the debate. I was disappointed but honestly it doesn't matter. As a woman and as a mom to daughters I will never vote for any party that wants to ban books and treat my children as sows and not care about them being people or any rights they have. I am voting so they can have rights and more rights don't get removed from them in the future.

Agree, Raise the minimum wage, The Child Tax Credit, Voting Rights Act, Gun Rights Act, extend Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
The border was great before Biden, student loans should be paid by the person that got the loan
But President Biden did manage to get a lot of student loans erased despite SCOTUS. My $47,400 of student debt (from undergrad and grad school) was forgiven in December! And that’s one of so many amazing things President Biden has done. I could care less about this 1.5 hour debate performance. I’ll tell you this: He didn’t lie ONCE! President Biden gets my vote all the way.

Normal people are watching the debates. All I saw was lie after lie after lie and someone who didn't answer one single question that he was asked he went off on a tangent of something else. At least Joe Biden answered the questions and the moderators were terrible. There was no fact-checking and a couple of times they did not turn the mic off on Trump when he interrupted Biden
It's not the job nor is it fair for the moderator to intervene. If Biden thinks something Trump said was false he should have confronted him on it. You need to have basic life skills.

Absolutely. I believe Biden went out of the country twice. I know one place was France and the other country I forgot, but I remember it was for a NATO summit or something like that. Then he spent a week at Camp David preparing for the debate. I know I would not be able to do it and I am 56.
