I remember when i upgraded to a $15.00 scope 😮 it was a game changer!😅 I actually got the Daisy 880 to 100 yards with that scope! That's when the rabbit hole started!❤❤❤
@Iheartlailussy Tasco 3-7 or 4-7. Knowing what I know now, I would spend 40 and get one of the 3-9 scopes from Barska at Walmart or better yet Amazon. Amazon normally has something very budget!
The crosman 766 was, to me, my first squirrel quality air gun. Having owned a hand-me-down 760 that had been abused something awful my next logical step was the 766. I regularly took squirrels and rabbits and a crow now and then. I'm old enough now to not remember what happened to it but still able to wish for it back. I do have a 2100 classic but no longer take the time to hunt. Thank you for giving my memory a shot from my past. Keep the shiney side up brother!
Nice shooting Travis. You can get a .177 caliber pellet to shoot accurate rested at 50 yards from your new Crosan 2100 in the wind. Wjy can't the .22 caliber Crosman 362 with steel breech hit a 3" circle at 40 yards in no wind? Especially when it is double the price? Maybe Crosman will fix it in version 2?
Bought myself one of those tripod clamps looking forward to try it, I think it will be good with a mini tripod as a table top clamp as well as the taller tripods when sitting or standing with not table.
Hi Travis, the problem is the 1000 has metal innards, but the 2100 has plastic innards. So basically it keeps the price of both similar. Probably not enough people willing to pay for a metal innards 2100.
Always a pleasure watching your Air Gun Videos Travis! Did you hear Crosman Is Introducing a New PCP version of the 362 Pellet Rifle? I saw It on a video from Shot Show 2024 I believe It's called the 3362?
*I kinda like shooting red dot for this exact reason* haha _You cannot stress about the performance if you can't see what is happening you only know if it felt right or not!_ Not too shabby for a budget -Crosman- Daisy! Haha
Pellet Pen.... That is what I have to use, have sausage fingers too... Stops me from saying bad words... Have fun with that one... FYI Buck-Rail makes a suppressor adapter for that one, it's the cool looking factor... Does work too... C out 😎
When your eyes are almost 70 years old, you'd be surprised at how much better you can shoot with one of those "toy" scopes. Iron sights just require more acuity in the old peepers to use them at all.
Great demo! Thanks for the shooting vids and thanks especially for your military service as a US Marine! What new school course did you recently start, if I may ask? I am a recently retired teacher, that's partly why I'm curious. Just picked up a new 2100 and an 880. Been shooting my old 2100 since the 80's and thought it was my pumper airgun "true love" until I picked up the 880 for the first time ever. I love the look, the fixed front grip, the rough texturing that helps with holds, and even the dark color of the Shadow version with white on several areas; reminds me a bit of the artistry on the receiver of my old 2100. The new 2100 is a "plain Jane" by comparison. Waiting on the suppressor setup from Buck Rail for the 880 so I don't "trigger" a SWAT deployment to my suburban neighborhood. Man, I miss the "good old days" when 'Merica was 'Merica and kids and adults could shoot bb and pellet guns in their back yards without having to worry about being arrested for it!
Thanks for the great comment! I’m going for digital multimedia. Became unemployed at the end of last year and had a little left on my gi bill. It’s going great so far.
I think the crosman 2100 would be a really good gun for backyards maybe 50 yards is pushing it but other then that I think its a good gun and great video oh shoot
Great shooting! Glad to know this gun will shoot out to 50 yards! I just got a 2100 (no scope) from Amazon for $65. My SN indicated it was made it was made in 2021 and has a metal receiver. I was concerned to get the one with a scope because the information said it had a plastic receiver - the price was $60. Just curious if yours has a metal receiver. Thanks.
Only took 3. I think I'm going to mount a really good scope on there and see how far I can keep it on a 3" piece in the future. That was at 8 pumps too.

What scope was it?

We can’t even unbox a scope without get demonitized anymore!
RUclips is such dog turd with their rules
Good to see you still going Travis! Keep on keeping on!

Great to hear from you! Hope you’re doing good man!
@@ohshoot444 good enough for an old Papaw. Take care brother! Wishing you and your family the best!
Group looked good!
I feel you on the finding time to make videos. I’m scheduled 4-10’s but usually work 6-7 days a week and when I’m off I just want to rest.

That would be cool and maybe they could include a steel breech from the factory. A man can hope.

I really have been using the heck out of mine. It's also super fun with the 1322.

Did not know this before this comment. I hopped on amazon and grabbed one. Thanks for the tactful comment!
I got one its about 5 years old . It is Lazer to 20 yards,Dime groups. Too bad it little down on power to hunt with .

I haven’t seen it yet. But I am looking forward to it.

Gonna have to dust mine off
Enjoyed it as always

I can’t hardly see through them but it’s better than nothing I agree.

Yessir the 2100 has the metal and legacy 1000 has the plastic. I prefer the 2100.
@@ohshoot444 Thanks for confirming that! Looks like Amazon had the wrong specs on the one with the scope.
Awesome!
What is the difference between the 2100 and the 1000? I just put a 4-16 on the Legacy, we'll find out how far thatll get us!
Do you think it s better than the daisy 880 power line pellet rifle
No 880 is better
Thanks
880 is way easier to pump, cock, and load. The Crosman has a bit more power.
what scopes can you use on the dasy 880
Hi Travis looks cool at 50yrds a hit I'd call that good, how many shots did it take for the hit
