Just started and it was January 26 th which is a public holiday and a lot of places are closed. Oh and as you are German,,,,,,,great bars and beer. Hope to bump into you in the city some time.

Thank you for showing off my city so well ❤️ I think this is one of the best videos I’ve seen showing off Perth. It is not normally that quiet when you’re out and about but as others have said it was Australia Day so we would have all been at the beach 😂❤️
I live near Perth and can confirm it is a very clean and very safe city. Very prosperous too and underrated because of the isolation and because Sydney and Melbourne are much better known.
@This is America it can be just as dangerous as anywhere else. There are gangs of our protected species of Indigenous that run amok and the police are powerless to do anything about it. It's not as safe as some might like to suggest.
I love Perth. I visited it 4 years ago for a month and I'm absolutely dying to go back some day. Something about the city just clicked for me. Bloody Covid-19......
Now live outside Melbourne near Phillip Island by the bay. Been five years away from Perth now after living there nearly 30 years. Shocked to see how narrow the Hay St Mall looks in this video after being exposed to Melbourne and all it’s got to offer. Wow...I have forgotten. Got to see Elizabeth ‘Kay’ finished last September when we drove over from Victoria. Was still being built when we left in 2015. Traffic was shocking on the Mitchell and Kwinana freeways in the two weeks we were ‘back home’.... Have to say Melbourne’s freeways and traffic flow much better. Anyway, you can take the boy out of WA, but secretly, you can’t take WA out of the boy! Always nice to come ‘home’ for a look around and a catch-up with friends and family.....and to see Rick and Suzannah still on the telly OMG!!

I love the comment about the sun setting in the East! The sun RISING in the East behind the war memorial in Kings Park is stunning, as is beautiful Perth and the whole of WA
I have worked there for 3 months. I still remember the places I went: Elizabet quay, Center park, Fremantle, Rockingham,... It's so beautiful city , modern . From Vietnam with love.
Nice vid, i love to see my town thru the eyes of others, I'm 4th Gen, from immigrants to Perth from UK Its too easy to take all the amazing things here for granted, i feel I won the birth place lottery being born in Perth. There is one very important thing Anyone must understand about Perth tho. There are ONLY FOUR DIRECTIONS FROM HERE. You are either heading Up North, Down South, East-The Hills or The Coast, which is West. The Sun rises in the East and sets in the West, hence our Sunset Coast boast in WA, we have thousands of k's of sunny West coast here, all in Western Australia. So when you can see that long, low, even band of Perth Hills, they run parallel to the West coast, so you are looking to the east and the direction of sunrise. The memorial is facing East towards The Hills, thus touched by the morning iight, symbolic of continued hope and renewal after a period of darkness.
They say you can tell where an Australian is from by the first question they ask you. A person from Sydney will ask what your net worth is. Someone from Melbourne will ask who your family is. A person from Adelaide will ask what your religion is. But someone from Perth will ask, "how about a beer, mate?" If that's true, it reflects how casual and informal Westralians are compared to other Aussies.
Perth is such a beautiful city, so blessed to say that I was born and raised there - can't wait to get back there at the end of the year to celebrate Christmas & New Years with my entire family 😁😁😁😁😁😁

Hi Pete, Bob scott was born in Scotland, arriving in Perth as a 10 year old after spending 4 years in Melbourne. One of a kind, a WA legend that the whisky took to early.
Went to Darwin in 1980 returned to the West in 2018 ! More than doubled in size but if you consider it does have over 2million people it is a fantastic city to live in or visit. And a huge part is it's opportunities. Worked for my " ten pound poms " parents back in '52 still doing it now. As the Chillie Peppers said " the sun may rise in the east but at least it settles in a finer location !😎👍

Same
Did you know it's the biggest city park in the world.
Bit of useless but none the less interesting trivia
Hey do Aussies love cricket?
@@MayankSingh-wd6zq We sure do! :)
Which King😂
Same as Paddy Parlane. I also live here in Perth. It looked really quiet, however he did mention it was Australia day people maybe be BBQing in Parks and beaches or home. Nothing much is normally open on public holidays. Best time to get out if you don't like crowds.
Perth have the best roads in the country.... smooth tarmac n no pot holes

Absolutely amazing 👌💚🙏 Australia is my dream country.
In around 10 years, australia is gonna look (probably better) than the USA, jesus this country has amazing scenery
nah man trust me don't go to Perth I live in the and every toilet is filled with vapes,
Full of drunk Aboriginals and they will attack you if you go close to them.
Ive seen hundreds of ilegal trading.
I could list a million more and the wifi is so crap over here 3 bars max like wth
Go there on a Monday at 11 or 12 and trust me it will be buzzing, I usually ride around on my eboard and yeah it's a good vibe I might go again in the coming weeks.
1:01 Actually it is the most isolated capital city on Earth, the most isolated location is Trista Da Cunha.
It is very interesting to appreciate the diffrerent places located in that beautiful australian city. . Thanks for sharing 🙏
As a local, you did a good job showing it off, thank you! Based on the time you recorded the video, must have been when covid hit or just before.
I live in the hills surrounding Perth and have been to the city many times but I’ve never seen it that quite. Also the jellyfish in the river don’t sting.
Hi! Thank you for uploading videos and clearing up my doubts on cities. But I must ask you which regional city you found enjoyable?

Kings Park is the largest inner city park in the world, even larger than Central Park in New York.
1:00 The architecture reminds me more of South European or other Mediterranean countries. And also the climate looks strikingly Mediterranean.
To really see the beauty in where you are from is to see it through the eyes of visitors in my opinion, cheers for showing the world our beautiful city of Perth. 👍🏻
Also I gotta correct ya mate but at 5.52 you mention the sun sets over by the hills is actually incorrect it rises over there and sets over the ocean behind where you pointed.
I’ve enjoyed watching your Canadian videos so far…keep up the good work mate
Perth is so beautiful. I love the city

My family moved there recently. Thanks for the tour
Thank you for showcasing our beautiful city! You were facing East where the sun rises. A minor detail!
ruclips.net/video/L0w2-SHNVKE/видео.html
Seeing as I live here in perth its great so see this video! It captures WA perfectly.... and yes the sun does rise from the east..... :DD
Very nice video Jeff. Perth the birth place of the late AC/DC vocalist Bon Scott.
Hi Pete, Bob scott was born in Scotland, arriving in Perth as a 10 year old after spending 4 years in Melbourne. One of a kind, a WA legend that the whisky took to early.
the most beautiful city in the world. love this place
Thanks for your clip. You are like a time traveler . The wind ,sun, and air must remember you.
Perth looks amazing

cant believe this is before covid, it so quiet as someone coming from sydney you can imagine how busy it gets
such a funny video watching when you've lived hear you're whole life, loved it.. couple thing's wrong but that's fine, main thing though... sun does not set on the east where you pointed! you watch beautiful sun rises from there, the sun set's on the west over the ocean, one of the only place in Australia that does :)
