I moved here in 2022 from Sydney. I was going to buy one of those 3 brm villas but didn't like them when I arrived. Instead I ended up living in the CBD in a nice spacious 1 brm apartment and I LOVE IT!! Best decision I made in decades. Perth is just a wonderful city to live in.
My wife and I took a holiday here in September 2022 on a 7 day bus tour to Albury and return to Perth and then decided to hire a car and travelled up to Monkey Mia for 6 days and returned to Perth. Loved every minute of this trip…we lived on the Central Coast and bored of NSW, so decided to put the house on the market and sold 7 days later, because Perth housing market is cheaper than NSW we profited on the sale…..So we travelled back to Perth to find a place to live and found what we wanted 30 mins north of Perth…..it wasn’t cheap to pack up everything and included 3 cars and removal costs but We will never leave here. 😊
I’ve lived in a few Australian cities. Sydney I was born in and love visiting it although it’s changed a lot, I’ve lived in Melbourne for a couple of years and loved being there it was just the weather that I didn’t like, I spent my teenage years on the Sunshine Coast and loved being there. Around 30 years ago I moved to Perth met my husband and settled here . Perth has changed dramatically with the population growth and it’s very slow to put infrastructure in place but that’s improving slowly. I don’t think I can call any Australian city better than another because they all have individual positives which makes visiting them a great experience
I don’t know that I can comment, because, being Perth born and bred, I am likely to be biased. But I thank you for the fair words, and hope that you had an enjoyable time while you were over here filming. If I was an able-bod (I have tetraplegia) there is an excellent chance that I would live in Melbourne, but an added benefit of living here is that (although far from perfect) it is relatively easy to get about in a wheelchair, and the climate is much easier to deal with-provided that you remember to carry a spray bottle of water with you in the warmer months. Born & Bred in Perth (lived in Duncraig Sth for the past +20yrs which is close to Nth Beach & Hillarys Marina). Have seen Perth evolve into a bustling modern city. My wife is from the UK & we went there in May for a holiday & also covered most of Europe. Nice to visit those places but it makes us realise how lucky we are on arriving back home. We have travelled extensively both Aus & abroad and both agree we feel like we are living in paradise. Gee it only takes us 1hr to duck up to Lancelin our favourite weekend getaway to chill out (best tavern on the planet for sunsets) In my personal opinion the northern coastal suburbs are the ideal locations to live (Freo & Cottelsoe, Subiaco, Sth Perth etc are way too overpriced these days) Fun fact WA is the 2nd largest "State" on the planet with some 13,000kms of magnificent coastlline with thousands of world class beaches including most of Perth beaches
Sunny weather, although it gets VERY HOT you constantly need air con in the summer, it’s CLEAN and amazing beaches! But the city itself is quite ordinary so if you are a proper city person it’s a NO. Great for a quiet life , retiree or family
It's a dry heat in Perth come the Summer time, which means you can sweat, rather unlike our friends residing in Queensland where they suffer terribly from a high humidity tropical environment. Which means when it gets hot there your body struggles to sweat. And yes, you will need good air-conditioning in Perth.
Nice video. You forgot to include Rockingham and Mandurah. Especially the beaches in Rockingham are outstanding, the water is so shallow and calm. Like a gigantic pool. 🏖

I think Perth is great for families with kids and fifo . Unfortunately we are bringing in 737000 people in 22-23 into Australia and most or alot are coming to Perth . The cost of living here has blown out bigtime as indicated by research . If it keeps going as predicted with immigration it will be hard to live here. There is alot of crime here paricullary Meth . It offers nothing for older people say 55 upwards in WA it doesnt understand the potential of older people but other states do particullary Qld . So we are packing up and moving there I think I have had the best of Perth.
I remember Perth was great when it was about 350,000 people but it's being going backwards since it passed 1 Million. You can pt afford do live anywhere you'd want to live because the prices have gone up so much. If you could stop the people from moving here for about 10 years you might have a chance. I have a house but my kids are going to be royally screwed.. I would be happy if I lost 30% in the value of my house if it meant my kids could afford a house each.
I lived in Perth for 26 years Now living in Mandurah area of Halls Head 75 km South of the city. Mandurah is beautiful with great beaches and incredible dining out facilities The plus about Mandurah is our canals visited regularly by bottle nose Dolphins To me Mandurah suits my current lifesstyle It is easy to get back to Perth city if required a 1 hour train journey departing every 15 mnts, gets you to Elizabeth Quay
Every city is generally pretty good when you are in tourist mode. I live in Perth as well. If you are coming to live here for an extended period of time and try make a life here know one thing it is very expensive housing which is very critical to live. You need skills to enter the workforce etc and decent money coming in. She mentioned rents $750 per week well guess what many people earn $1000 per week more than you think. You do the math. Not everyone is earning $2000 per week. For the record I work I work in I.T Systems.
Perth is that good since Jakarta and Bali is readily within reach within 3-4 hours. Cheap shopping and holiday are just a Jetstar flight away 😂. Heading to Singapore isn't all that costly either 😁😍. This is great. Very informative. We are about to take a trip there and this video had some very useful information. I would like to know more about the Subiaco area and North Perth. The transport information was very useful too. We will catch a train from Perth Airport so we will get a SmartRider card. there.
Subiaco is a really beautiful and centrally located suburb with a lot of life. It has many luxury high rise apartments intermixed with leafy streets full of quaint grand old houses. It has very good shopping options, excellent restaurants and beautiful parks. It is between the city and the beach and you could get to the city by train from the Subiaco train station in probably 7 minutes. Or you can get the train in the train in the other direction which will take you to Cottesloe Beach in about 15 minutes or to Fremantle in 25 minutes. So if you are planning on visiting Perth, Subiaco is not a bad place to base yourself at all. North Perth is a nice suburb but a lot quieter than Subiaco. Technically closer to the city but not as easy to get to the city as Subiaco because it isn’t on the train line. It is also further away from the beach than Subiaco. If I was coming to visit Perth I would stay in Subiaco over North Perth.

Myself, my wife and 2 young children are seriously considering moving to perth from the UK next year. (June/July time) My wife is a nurse of 7 years and I have various qualifications regarding road construction/safety inspections. Our children are both school age (5 and 8). Looking for a bit of advice.. would we have to pay school fees initially or could we get a visa that would help with these? Thanks guys!
Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to. Start saving, keep saving, and stick to investments. Everyone should have BTC in their portfolio.
It’s really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It’s a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot sir Brian! Imagine i invested $50,000 and received $190,500 after 14 days
Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Brian C Nelson.
I reward larger cities with nice urban downtowns. Perth seems to me like a relatively small city suddenly got bigger. There are also many beautiful old colonial-style houses with terraces, but they are relatively scattered. The whole city core is too eclectic for me. Its train service is great, but the inner city districts mainly rely on bus service, which, with a population of more than 2 million, seems like a little bit too little from here. So in terms of architecture and culture, I would vote for Adaleide. The one and a half million inhabitants make me feel very comfortable. It's already a big city, but it's a smaller one. Despite this, its inner city feels more urban than Perth's inner city. The tram line also helps in this, but architecturally it also looks more harmonious, with a more traditional building.
I would say yes! There are a lot of cashed-up people in Perth with plenty of money to spend. Probably the biggest money earner place for a good chef is on the mine sites of the big oil & gas companies like BHP, RIO, Chevron & Woodside. A chef can earn $215-250Kpa.
Perth's biggest issue is its isolation from the rest of Australia. If you can live with that, the climate is good. Similar latitude to Sydney but better climate is much better.
In Perth, half of our drinking water was expensively desalinated using fossil fuels. But Perth's population has increased by 30% and the drinking water for all those extra people has to be desalinated. Everybody's water bills have increased, not just the water bills of the newcomers who make the desalination necessary.
@@daniellawrence6813 That was the intention but I don't believe that has happened. They are relying on carbon offsets. In any case, energy is still being used that could be used for other purposes. Other energy users must use fossil fuel electricity because the desalination uses up the renewable electricity.
Some of the street photography didn't give a good perspective really. Most of Perth retail in the suburbs and city looks new, with glass and steel. There is a lot of knock down and rebuild culture in Perth.
Moved to Perth 9 years ago from Darwin for work and a place to raise my 5 year old son who was entering the education system. Life in Perth has been great for both of us and I was very happy with the choice I made. But since the covid 19 pandemic ended, things have turned to Shit, the explosion in foreign immigration from foreign workers and foreign students has played a major role in our current housing crisis, letting all those people into the country with a limited number vacant accommodation has been a disaster for not only Perth but all our major Cities. Affordable and available housing has been taken away by the policies of both major political parties and its turning Perth and the rest of the country into a shit hole, the number of homeless people and crime has exploded in the last few years and its only going to get worse unless we slam the brakes on immigration until we have enough accommodation built to house everyone. 😐
Newcastle had been for few years under renovations ; including new city rail train crossing the main streets from new station direct to near by the beach .Large part of the main mall it's under demolitions going for new developers .Rocks pools into beaches they are nice ; but not much shadows trees .Rental becomes expensive and not much left ;perhaps a little more around suburb .Transport very good .The main town streets and peoples still they are as same to anothers country medium size city's .
I liked Freemantle most of all. Only place with any life in Perth. Following that: Leederville, East Perth and South Perth which are all close to the centre and fairly pleasant. Perth generally is extremely boring. Cottesloe is a shining example of all beach no life. Speaking of which Perth's beaches are very straight and face directly out into the Indian Ocean and the white pointers. Little shelter or landform. Water then land.
Perth has gone to crap. Too many people moving here. Housing used to be cheap and now it is insane. This is an example of paradise lost. Thank you all you useless politicians and greedy economists obsessed with eternal GROWTH. When the rest of the world moves here, guess what this place turns into? It becomes just like the rest of the writhing, overpopulated shithouse places. Of course many will disagree with my opinion, but there it is.

I have applied for a new nomination through a different employer, but new employer submitted both the nomination and the SBS application at the same time, and we have yet to receive approval for either. Given that I meet the qualifications for a 186 visa, I would like to know if I can apply for the 186 visa now, or if I need to wait for the approval of the SBS and nomination for my 482 visa. Thank you for your help.
I've been living here for 10 years, and it's getting bad here. The population is expanding to fast. With that said, crime is going up. The cost of living in Perth is going up because too many people are moving here from the eastern states, and it's starting to be unliveable. If you're rich, Perth might be okay. The mining industry is slowing down with a lot of layoffs.
Well said. Everything you say is true and worse. I was in mining for decades and lost my job. Many of my mates have lost their jobs also. Mining downturn can last for a decade. Sold our home and moving overseas now. To many immigrants, crime is through the roof and cost of living will cripple you.
@@Travvv94 NO. Tokyo, Singapore, KL ... are Major cities and they don't have crime. We are mimicking New York, London, Cal ... and the bad attitude anti-socials that roam freely (full of drogs).
Perth is by far the best city in Australia but the infrastructure is not keeping pace with the booming population. Careful consideration needs to be had when deciding where to live as it is so spread out and temperatures vary greatly.
Perth has become terribly expensive, its no longer the relaxed and pleasant place it used to be. Crime and homelessness is increasing due to insanely high imigration.
It's happening globally. Prices inflation is a lot worse in UK and europe. People are paying 25-28 Euros for pasta, we are paying the same in Aussie. The homeless problem is USA much worse as people are losing their jobs and can't afford higher rent prices.. I think people in Perth have been enjoying the premium life with the economic boom for past 15 years before COVID, eating high grade steaks and lobsters etc.... but everything has to come back to normal where these luxuries are enjoyed on special occasions not as frequently... I grew up on mince meat and meat off cuts and baked beans 80s-90s. When the resource boom hit, Perth was thriving so were the people living here with higher paying jobs and cheaper housing cost compared to our EC counterparts. That has come to an end. People from Sydney and Melbourne have move over to Perth for those reasons and the economy balanced back out as demand surpass supply.
DONT COME, PLEASE THERES NO HOUSING FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE TERRIBLE, AND LOOK WE NEED DOCTORS AND NURSES NO MORE COURIERS AND DD DRIVERS. LOCALS KNOW INDIANS HAVE GOLD AND ARE EASY VICTIMS.
I'm an HVAC tech from CA and AZ in the USA. I had no certifications besides an EPA Univeral and 4 years of experience. I moved to Perth with a job because of that experience and good communication skills. I moved to Perth because of the job. It has been nothing short of amazing for me because it is everything I appreciate about America and everything about Australia that I love. Australia will never be good enough to move to, if you don't love Australian culture and values. It may not work out because the rental market is dogshit! Sorry not sorry, I'm American, fuck you. You need to make less than what you make comparatively in America, but astronomically so much if that makes sense. However, what you make to what you need to live comparatively in America, you need less than in America. But it's not easy and lower what your expectations are, from my perspective because Australia is a different country, to what you need to live in Perth. Culture is different here in Perth and in Australia in general. I will always appreciate Australia for what it is and I choose to live here because of how Australia is! Because I love the pros of what Australia offers, even if my own family chooses to accept my decisions. In short, choose to live where your values are met!
Unfortunately not a place to live in Perth. 80s and 90s and the 2000 was the best. As the year went past Perth has been going downhill. Everything is expensive, crime rates is high, homelessness, druggies etc..... Perth is a very boring isolated place. Most shops are shut around 9pm not like the other states. Perth is a slow growing city, roads are not built to accommodate extra traffic. I suggest people that want to move here do your research.

Absolutely! Profits are possible, especially now, but complex transactions should be handled by experienced market professionals.
Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Brian C Nelson.
Finding yourself a good broker is as same as finding a good wife, which you go less stress, you get just enough with so much little effort at things
Brian demonstrates an excellent understanding of market trends, making well informed decisions that leads to consistent profit
Thank you so much
thank you, seems its a beautiful city
Fremantle is not a suburb of Perth. It is a city in its own right and definitely a place to visit.
Oh yeah and Joondalup is a city as well 🤦♂️
01:49 You spelled Fremantle wrong :p
What about chef job? Planning to move there in a few months
Try the mines catering. Yeh! It's not Alae Carte but good to save money and well you might just like the fifo lifestyle?
Do you have a visa?
@@glennoc8585 from Sydney, and yes looking for a 482 visa sponsorship
I would say yes! There are a lot of cashed-up people in Perth with plenty of money to spend. Probably the biggest money earner place for a good chef is on the mine sites of the big oil & gas companies like BHP, RIO, Chevron & Woodside. A chef can earn $215-250Kpa.
Perth's biggest issue is its isolation from the rest of Australia. If you can live with that, the climate is good. Similar latitude to Sydney but better climate is much better.
Sister who about jobs in perth for students ?
Nice city but lots of very hot days.
My dream city❤
I love Perth It is complete video

Hello Martina! How to get a sponsor of study or Job as Farmer worker.
In Perth, half of our drinking water was expensively desalinated using fossil fuels. But Perth's population has increased by 30% and the drinking water for all those extra people has to be desalinated. Everybody's water bills have increased, not just the water bills of the newcomers who make the desalination necessary.
The desal plants are powered by renewables.
@@daniellawrence6813 That was the intention but I don't believe that has happened. They are relying on carbon offsets.
In any case, energy is still being used that could be used for other purposes.
Other energy users must use fossil fuel electricity because the desalination uses up the renewable electricity.
Hello, I am 33 years old, can I go to study?
Some of the street photography didn't give a good perspective really. Most of Perth retail in the suburbs and city looks new, with glass and steel. There is a lot of knock down and rebuild culture in Perth.
Getting far too expensive here in Perth now
Fremantle*
nice
In a word 'no' but it is good to have a half decent west coast city in Aus
Population growth is now uncontrollable
Perth is the best city in the world (account for bias)
Thank goodness for subtitles
And how many language do you speak then?

@kikes2200 How many do you think you need?

All of the sudden Perth becomes popular….
Because the rest of the Western World has gone to s**t!
Fremantle reminds me of San Francisco.
Except it is sunny and warm.
Spot on!
Stop import. Asians annoy me
$2000 a week your having a laugh yeh maybe if your working in the mines maybe even then. But $2000 a week working in Perth try half of that
Get on the mines there, make money and live the Perth dream.
I hear Kwinana is great.
Who told you that 'porky'?

Dear Team a
I am seeking your assistance regarding my current visa situation. I hold a 482 visa that is valid until November 2025. However, I am no longer working with my original sponsor.

Newcastle City
I've been living here for 10 years, and it's getting bad here. The population is expanding to fast. With that said, crime is going up. The cost of living in Perth is going up because too many people are moving here from the eastern states, and it's starting to be unliveable. If you're rich, Perth might be okay. The mining industry is slowing down with a lot of layoffs.
The crime isn't bad at all, it's a major city with more than 2 million so of course there will be some crime.

What are you talking about? Thats such a huge lie😂😂😂
If I am rich! I will not move to Australia! Japan and Hong Kong are much better👍
Thank you
Please don’t come. Rentals are near on impossible to get and prices are going through the roof. Too many people coming in recently since Covid.
Nooooooʻoo😢😢
I just want to say that the story about Perth being the most isolated city in the world is bullshit. It’s actually Honolulu.

Racist city
Looks very nice but I assume it’s like every other city in Australia- millions of immigrants from Asia piling in 😒
Not any more.
😂😂😂😂😂 no idea 😂😂😂😂😂 what NONSENSE, average Perth wage 2G a Week? What are you smoking!!???
