1) the kick and then pincer when I approach a corner is probably the most common mistake 2) I sometimes see the AI, when I approach their star point corner with a small knight, I see them kick and then attach on top of my nobi. I don't think this is very good, but interesting to me. I call it the F sharp joseki, because the computer effed up! 3) I will need to rewatch before I can really answer this question, but the idea that the old punish of descent rather than the newer hane underneath, (when the opponent pincers my approach to the 44 corner and then makes the trick play hane) the idea that the descent is good enough is comforting, because to hane back is scary like a monster!
