I haven't played with that one yet. I'll check it out. Did you see his recent release of RUclips Player? It syncs playback to all players. Pretty cool!
This might have been the case in earlier releases, where to change the volume you actually had to change the Global playlist volume and that would be synced with the player - as of the latest updates the volume is synced 2 ways, so if you change it in the player it also changes the global playlist volume@@arcanjl
Really amazing module , i wait the normal release but it's fantastic. One question, inizially you upload a ruined immage, when the upload is finished some information appear on the right side, tha information are in to immmage , pregenereted random or insert after the upload?
Really an amazing module. For some reason though moving quests to differnt Categories just doesn't work while everything else works just fine. Any idea why that might be?
Question: If you've used this module, does it seem to leading the pc's around by the nose? By attempting to entice them to play for quest unlocks in the module?
I think it depends on how you write your quests. You could go full Baldur's Gate 3 and lay out a hundred available quests, or you could use it as a journal of record / tasks to complete. The map and immersion functions stand on their own regardless, I think.
How are you getting your subheadings to be collapsible? None of mine have the little arrows next to them when I create new ones or import from journal. It's driving me crazy...
Thanks, but not check boxes. I'm wanting the subheadings on the left to be collapsible. So I can have a quest or lore main heading, then a subheading that has multiple subheadings under that. Example: History>Region1>thing1, thing2, thing3. I don't want players to have those 3 things always there on screen. They should be able to be collapsed so I can still be in History but not be forced to have every single subheading under History open. As it stands now, if you use a page template that includes images, it'll create subheadings for each image and let you collapse them into parent heading. I don't understand why that is only option. I don't want to use templates or images. I just want to format my own plain text and have subheadings be collapsible. I don't code, so maybe it's super difficult. But why can't all journal pages of a certain level just collapse into the above level? All level 3s under a 2 heading can collapse into that 2. All level 2s under a 1 heading can collapse into that 1.
@@theripper9300 Is it possible for that to be implemented, or is that something Foundry just can't handle? That's how it works in just about every CRPG out there, which is what these types of journal mods are trying to mimic. Seems like a fundamental feature.
@@chad2997 During the 2 months of developement noone asked or mentioned this functionality, so it was not implemented. It's unlikely that something like this will be added ad this point since the Early Access phase is over but there are feature requests channels where you can file a feature request
great module, but I'm waiting for it to be out of early access. ...and to when most modules will be compatible with the new 3.0. Sigh, I hope it happens soon.
I still haven't seen a list of modules that are being affected by the 3.0 change. Usually some enterprising person puts such a list together. Let me know if you see one!

Would definitely like to see how Simple Quest can work with MATT!
Holy crap! I had no idea how powerful this was - thank you! This needs to be done for all his stuff. LOL - like the dynamic sounds, would be awesome.
Amazing mod! 😮
I love you change videos so much! Can I ask you one? Another one of riipers modules: Dynamic Soundscapes?

Yes! Installed it right away. But had to turn it off cause the users couldn't control the volume. Weird. @@Baileywiki
Whoa, really? That seems like a big problem. I'll ping Ripper and see if he's already resolved it

It’s some placeholder text for you to change
You mentioned you can do a counter without the max value, but I don't see how I can do that

This was a one day bug with the player journal update - it should have been resolved quite a while ago, make sure you update

Could MATT from your landing pages link to Simple Quest?
We had the conversation at one point with Ripper to see if it's possible, but I don't know where it ended up. Would be a question for Ripper now

Are you using the bullets when writing your journals? They just automatically turn to check boxes for me when I view them in Simple Quest

The headings are not collapsible, only the page itself is

Quests are great but I dont see the added value of maps. You can do pretty much that with scenes, and you can drop tokens on scenes if need be...
I think that not having to switch scenes and load them Is useful
