I watch alot of Catholic videos, because I am halfway through converting from atheism. I love watching Bishop Barron and Ascension Presents in particular, and I just want to say that I think this video cuts deep into the essence of what the current issues of faith are here in New Zealand. I have a triple major in science (Chemistry, Geology, and Geography), so can speak first hand on how the study of God's creations are being mis-used in order to support "Ego-Dramatic" individual constructs and social constructs of scientistic ideologies. God bless you Bishop Barron.. Keep up the good work. I am a solo Father trying desperately to guide my son to Jesus, through the teachings of the Catholic church. If it wasn't for your efforts (and the efforts of others, such as the rest of the team at "Word On Fire") then I don't think I would get very far. May God bless you and the team at "Word on fire" and may the Holy Spirit help guide and empower your surmons.

I realized once that Jesus and John met first in the waters of their mothers' wombs; the next time they meet it will be in the waters of the Jordan River.
The time has come for all of us Catholics who complain about not being able to attend a Latin Mass, to cease and desist with the constant bitching and complaining about Pope Francis... be grateful to God and thank Him for what we do have. Many parishes have a shortage of priests and some have none....and would be grateful to even have a church nearby in which to attend mass or even a communion service, or Eucharistic adoration. Time to grow up guys. Merry Christmas....
Once again Bishop thank you . You are my Lord’s resource, bless you always. Off topic but want to express my sympathy and compassion to your family over the recent loss of your sister in law. It’s a devastation for all. I lost my husband three years ago and it is only Christ that has kept me afloat. I know how you’re all grieving , my heart to you.
Your discussion of "We are in the same story" gave me chills. Thought of the scene in Two Towers where Sam and Frodo are discussing the story of the Silmarils, and realize they are carrying the light of one in the Phial of Galadriel. "Why sir, we are in the same story still!" I love when the emotions I feel for great stories enrich what I feel when encountering great Theology.
I love the idea that We (The Church) are moving together. Even when we don't know we're moving together according to Gods Plan. Thing is We only see our little part, whereas God see's the whole thing and how all the parts fit in. God has a plan...And I Trust Him.
Also the non-Church. Everything moves according to its way, and every way moves according to Logos (that is, Christ). Even Jesus required Judas to betray him for his mission to be fulfilled. The difference between one and another is the awareness of the game being played.
Indeed, Bishop Barron. Without God and His Will for the purpose of our lives here on Earth in our minds, we are running around crazy, in circles, like hamsters on a spinning wheel, to nowhere, pointless. Best to be the busy servants for God, than being the busy hamsters for satan. God bless. 🙏

What a wonderful homily. I've been finding so much correlation recently between different Catholics in my life, Catholics I follow online, and the like. Sometimes things can be difficult, but to fully love people is not to just accept whatever they say "works" for them. It's not. Loving someone is not just living in contentment. Loving someone is leading one another to Christ. When I encounter people, some friends, some not, who are not Christians but say they're happy that the faith "works for me" I actually get really sad because Jesus isn't just for some of us, He is for everyone and He wants to welcome them home. It was a really difficult realization at first because the more open I have been to Christ, the more troubles I have realized among friends, family, and myself. The struggle was and continues to be worth it though because being openly excited and vocal about being Catholic bears SO much fruit, even when we might never see it. Being a witness to Christ is a gift-use it! Keep praying for one another! Thank you, Bishop Barron!
Thank you for this inspiring sermon. Like many others I had to listen again. As a child I think I was in the Theo-drama inspired and encourage by the sisters that taught me. Later I was swayed the world and got caught up in the ego-drama for years. An amazing thing I noticed is when I finally started to follow Theo-drama like minded people came into my life. Just being aware of these two dramas helps me to recognize when I get off course and need to get back on track.
Thank you Bishop Barron for another wonderful homily. You continue to inspire me to be part of God's plan. I beg God's grace so I can be part of the Theo Drama . Come Holy Spirit Come. Merry Christmas Bishop Barron. May God bless you and keep you safe.

Bishop Barron, you are one of God's stars, which was evident when you presented the Catholicism series. Profound subjects discussed in a comprehensive, non-judgmental style by an intellectual takes rare talent. However, complementary remarks are combined with a special request. I need many prayers at this time of my life, and would appreciate your adding me to your list. Briefly, I'm in my last chapter of life, which I love deeply, but the past year has been devastating. Last year I was scheduled for abdominal surgery, which stretched into 3 procedures in 8 months. During recovery, my daughter died suddenly while waiting for a surgery date. The combined stressful events caused (guess!), shingles, my 6th lifetime episode, the culprit, a compromised immune system. I would be most grateful if you could include my name and my daughter's (Alicia) in a prayer list. Addendum: My daughter's death follows the death of my eldest son within 5 years, colon cancer, 2 out of 3 children. My youngest is my human guardian angel, a difficult task. Sorry for the prolonged comments, and dearest thanks for your prayer♡

I know I have been in an ego drama. I have blamed myself for my children’s lack of faith. I judge myself as a failure. I mentioned it at confession and the priest asked me to say 7 Glory be’s over my family. After losing track of the number of times I said, “glory be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be”, I realized that if I think anyone’s salvation is in my hands, I am NOT giving glory to the Lord! I glorify God by following Him and placing my trust in HIm and in his ability to save the willing souls.
Haste, in this context of Mary’s Visit = jubilation, or excitement that spurs one on? And, there is collaboration between Saint Elizabeth and Our Lady to bring about history, God incarnate. God bless you Bishop Barron and all.
I love going to Mass and Adoration each week. In much the same way, I love your thought provoking sermons. Taken together, they are just the right amount of spiritual medicine to tackle a new week.
Bp. Barron has a consistent character tell that shows up in about ten percent of his homilies and other monologues. That tell reveals itself in his discussions that proclaim "Oh, bore me to death!" His self-effacing distain for those who will not embrace his "larger" view of the world, ostensibly those Rube Goldberg living myths that are modern Catholicism, lets us peak into the mind of Bp. Barron. A barn is also a great place to seek refuge in a storm, if you don't mind the odor. Keeps you dry, the horses are friendly, the hay is soft...
I was recently praying the rosary with Pope Francis. In it it pointed out that we have all been created before the foundations of the earth were formed. That God already knew, him being outside of all space and time, that Adam and Eve would sin and would betray his will for mankind. Then I realized that someone had asked once,,"why is there bad in the world" "why is Satan still present?" Why dosen't God destroy him?" Im a mother of four and grandmother of four and thats a difficult question to answer unless its wisdom...While praying suddenly I realized God does not destroy what he creates he is a creator. He didn't destroy Lucifer/Satan because God created the heavens and the earth he created hell also for its intended purposes, But he did not destroy Satan as horrible as Satan is, but God and his Love are so powerful that he is able and has as powerful as our God and majesty is as the only creator ever and to always be, has found a way to turn satans intentions of destruction and evil into a greater good for His own Glory (God's glory) and our salvation and our good. He didn't destroy lucifer instead he took what lucifer wanted to do and transformed it into a good, I also thinks its a sign of how God feels about humanity and angels and destruction and abortion. God does not disappoint therefore he does not destroy himself or his created universe. If he has not destroyed Satan then why would anyone think he would destroy us? The rainbow is a bowing away from us...in Hebrew its a sign of God's wrath turning away from us. God does not disappoint he keeps his promises. God says If you love the child then you will not spare the rod so why would our Heavenly father spare the rod for us his children whom he loves? Christ being the beginning with no end the Tou the last letter of the Hebrew alphbet the cross meaning that Christ is the beginning and when we have reached what we think is an end its actually a beginning because where there is an beginning and an end in the same it is the endless and boundless continually creation. The Intention of God becoming begotten into our human lowness yet our dalvation and our savor our majesty and Messiah was intended I believe since the before the world was formed God knowing that it would be required in order for all of us his children to be adopted and grafted in..... God Bless and May he always Provide for he who has God Lacks Nothing St Theresa of Avila Pax Christi

One of your best, dear Bishop Barron!
Profound as always. Thank you very much and a very happy Christmas Bishop.
A clear message that so important in these times of wokeculture, it's nothing more than an egodrama. I hope as a humanity we can truly move towards a theofocused culture.
Gracias Padre Robert saludos cordiales desde Cd de Mexico

Father forgive me. My petty preoccupations are nothing compared to your sacrifice on the cross.
What incredibly inspiring insights. I'm so grateful for this video ministry of Bishop Barron.
I LOVE LISTENING TO BB.. my only wish is to hear the readings. Rather than just have them referred to in snippets. I'd love to hear them, as is. And then what he has to say ..
He brings out the new Word On Fire Bible...shameless book plug. LOL!!! Just kidding I've got a copy, and the second volume is on the way soon. Thank you Bishop for all your work!
Life is not about the self but being part of the Theo Drama. It is about getting out of yourself and making sacrifices for something bigger. To discover the bigger plan God has in store for us. God bless.
