Today I was walking with my son in a furniture shop and we were discussing on how infuse a workstation in our mid-size Livingroom. After watching your clip, I got inspired by building a minimal wooden pillars to divide the Livingroom from the workstation. Im a mother of 3 with no interior design skills and we are stuck in a 600sf house with 5 people and we are redoing our living room because the old stuff was just causing me to be anxious and depressed. LOVED the wood slat wall! And I’ve loved wabi sabi and Japanese design for a long time. Been thinking of horizontal wood slats as a head board, but seeing the vertical slats convinced me the headboard needs to be vertical.😊

Hi, Zahira, my living room has very cold silvery gray colored walls and deep dark walnut flooring (more cool tones than warm ones). I put furnishing that’s cool in undertone in cool gray, white, and black. Can I put accent pieces and accessories or artwork that’s in the warm side of the color wheel, such as, ochre, aubergine etc.? Or, should I add cool-toned accents such as navy blue and teal? Thanks.
Hi I am repainting my condominium and wanted to know what color will be the wall and ceiling. Right now I have a dark brown TV modular cabinet and stand directly nailed on the wall and the color is the same as the cabinets in the kitchen. Its an open space living room and kitchen. Is it possible to change the paint of the modulat cabinets to go with the color of the wall and the ceiling?
