Very pretty! I have a druzy stone ring that is wrapped symmetrically on both sides but it’s probably done this same way. Now I’ll be able to make my own! Thank you for sharing! 💜
Thank you so much, Gina. Your tutorials are well done. I just inherited a jewelry makers collection. I hand and loom seed beads but have never done wire wrap jewelry, or other such beading. She gifted me everything except a ring sizer. Your videos helped me to understand all the parts and how they go together. I look forward to beading in this new way. Jo gave me her books but watching someone is the easier way for me to learn. The trouble I have is knowing the size and types of the thousands of beads she gave me. Pictures and black dots on pages( to denote sizes), aren't much help. Any suggestions are appreciated in that regard. Again, thank you. Grace from Moodus, CT.
Well, trying to identify beads without seeing them is not possible, but you can join a beading group on Facebook, the are several, mine is called “Our Beaded Creations.” You can then post pictures of the beads and ask the members to help identify them. You can also buy a bead gauge tool to measure with, so you will know the sizes. Soon, you begin to identify types and sizes by looking at them😁
Thank you Gina. Have never had a Facebook acct so I won't be able to use your suggestion. However I purchased a digital miter and that has been very helpful. Again thank you. I continue to subscribe to your channel and looķ forward to future tutorials. Grace from Moodus, CT USA
I still haven't master wire wrap on beads! Really will be coming back to this though when I feel ready to try it. Filing video under to do later file. lol
So funny, newbie here, mine come out unsymmetrical all by themselves! Its technically simple but not that easy because in its simplicity the lack of skills, in my case, are obvious. But great fun and looking forward to gaining know how in my brain. Thanx
What a very lovely tutorial! I absolutely love the top drilled ring but I cannot locate a source for top drilled beads that are round. Do you have any suggestions?
i come from canada and i cannot find top drilled beads or crystals... not even online. Why are they so difficut to find? Do you know where i can get some?
@@GGCBeginningbeaders the first website has a new website and don't see how to type in request for top drilled. Plus it's all over the place...second site didn't day top drilled only showed teardrop shape. Can you share a link so we know ? i
I have a few of these beads, I will post them on my website this week under specialty beads it’s ggctreasures.com but wait a few days, I am trying to restock and list more stuff. It takes a few days to get to new stuff.
Nancy M on Sterling it might be worth more, especially if you use a nice gemstone. But otherwise, I don’t think you could get much more than 10 dollars a ring.
I can't wait to try and make a ring for myself so I can get use to making them, Thanks!
Yes, give it a try!😁
I love your work. Best tutorial.

No, but perhaps I can order some wholesale and list them on my website.
Just starting the video, but already need to know where to get the top-drilled crystal? I'm not finding them anywhere. This is gorgeous!
Kim Bain try emailing Shirley at budgetbeadbox.com or look ar Chinesecrystalbeads.com

I don’t know why they are so hard to find. Try PandaHall, they should ship to Canada, but shipping is pretty high.
Where can I find the bead that has the the hole on the lower bottom
It’s a top drilled round bead and I think budgetbeadbox.com has some, if not, try Chinesecrystalbeads.com

where did you get the top drilled crystals
You can get them on Amazon, Chinesecrystalbeads.com but that site is expensive to ship from, or you can get them on Etsy.
How fun!!! Thank you.
You are very welcome, enjoy!
Nice idea... how much do you think one could charge for a ring like that? Could also use sterling wire to increase value
Nancy M on Sterling it might be worth more, especially if you use a nice gemstone. But otherwise, I don’t think you could get much more than 10 dollars a ring.
Where do you get your wires from ? I like the pinkish copper that you are using for this projects.
