      My mother said the same thing...in 1978. It's an old thing. It doesn't mean you will get cancer. You need to be susceptible. This is just to keep the companies safe. Toothpaste is also supposed to cause cancer. All these plastic packaging can't be healthy either. There are chemicals and plastics in our fabrics.

      Not really. WHO assigns carcinogenic risk levels to things that have never caused cancer in humans and are only known to have caused it in animals (in massive amounts no human would ingest in a way that would endanger them), or are only 'we don't know for sure it DOESN'T so we'll list it anyway' situations. It's kind of overblown and isn't helped by general scientific illiteracy.

      @@RightsForZombies you actually nulled the scare i got from the "dangerous" chemical and if it has been around with us for so long when we eat and cook, it would make sense the animals they use it on would have sideaffects since they havent ate as much cooked food as humans have, if its anything like how humans were lactoseintolerant we might have built up immunity to it.

      It's more than fast food. There's micro plastics in all our food and that causes cancer. Alumin fluoride is used in our water supply. It's a flocculant if I remember correctly. That causes cancer in high enough doses. There's hormones in the water that reduce testosterone levels and cause low fertility and mental health issues in men. Vegetables and fruit have been bred over the years to have less nutrients and more sugar. Chemical farming is linked to an increase in autism. Pretty much everything you eat in the industrial world is problematic. Your clothes cause cancer too. Due to the chemicals in the dye and plastic fabrics.

    Acrylamide just comes from the high temperature browning of starchy foods... It's literally what happens when something is caramelized or burned, but you need to heat things to be able to process them because humans evolved to eat cooked foods. While packaging has toxic chemicals, acrylamide does _not_ come from packaging. This Acrylamide thing is pure scaremongering and discredits the entire video.

    • @rocketsurgeon2135
      @rocketsurgeon2135 10 дней назад

      @BlogingLP BS. It's exactly the same in Europe, except there's no signs, because you're expected to have learned in school that previous generations allowed tons of mercury, and other nasty stuff, to pollute the aquatic environment and bio accumulate in the food chains.
      With extremely few, and usually expensive, exceptions, all fish you consume should be presumed to contain elevated levels of heavy metals, including mercury, as well as PCBs and other fun stuff.
      Similarly, that any time you fry/grill/braise foods, small amounts of it will inevitably be turned into acrylamids. So it's acrylamids, or only eating boiled or raw foods - not that there aren't consequences to eating your food raw, or that boiling foods don't also cause the creation of other undesired and unhealthy compounds.

      With the acrylhyde or whatever it's called I can't remember chemical names it's formed when it's cooked with high heat literally toast has it when you cook toast The crispy fries a product from it is the chemical really you cook certain foods with high temps it will make it but it shouldn't be super worried since it's low levels

    • @SwellowOffical
      @SwellowOffical 4 дня назад

      Even then, the fries get the cancer chemicals from being fried at extreme levels. Same with other fried or cooked foods. Anything made under 190° degrees shouldn’t really harm you.

    PFAS are not only in the food packaging, it's also coming from some cookwear as well as clothing like goretex for example. But yeah, digesting it is pretty much the worst case scenario

    • @rocketsurgeon2135
      @rocketsurgeon2135 10 дней назад +1

      This is not PFAS, this is acrylamids (what high heat causes some denatured proteins to turn into, e.g., when frying/grilling/braising) and mercury (a pollutant that exists throughout aquatic environments and bio accumulate in anything that lives in them).
      PFAS is just added insult to injury that they somehow don't seem to have to warn about?!

    What you're showing in this video is of fast food restaurants in CA. There's a law in California that requires warnings on EVERYTHING that contains a substance that could be carcinogenic, even if it's never caused cancer, has been used for 50+ years, and the fda has deemed it to have such a low risk of causing cancer that it's deemed safe all over the US. This requirement isn't just for food. It's for everything, including clothing, car parts, building materials, fishing lewers, etc. If you order clothing or computer parts from a California business, it will have a warning. No where, but California has this policy because it doesn't make much sense. Just about everything on earth carries some level of risk of causing cancer, so just about everything in California has a warning. Cherries have a cancer warning because the pits contain arsnic. If everything has a warning, it means nothing when it matters. People get so used to seeing unnecessary warnings that we simply ignore them. Look up California prop 65. It's intent is good, but it's a big fail, imho.

    So, nobody is ADDING acrylamide to hamburgers or fries. It's not an additive. It's a compound that is created from starches in particular when the foods are fried at high heat. It's formed whether you fry hand made fries at home, or a chain restaurant fries factory made fries. It's also formed when you barbecue foods at home.

I keep wanting to secretly throw up all my food and I keep spending five minutes on the toilet, I keep using the bathroom a lot! It’s affecting me in school!!! No longer gonna eat at McDonald’s, I’ll stick to Mexican restaurants - at least the safe ones I know. I stay in the bathroom for long times either for diarrhea or I can’t poop but I have poop ready.
