can we stop demonizing gmos tho? like we wouldnt have bananas if we didnt…. bananas of the old world dont exist. there are both bad and good gmos, just like anything else.
For elecetronics, its likely computer chips or other materials that would have caused cancer originally. For products like this I just ignore the warning normally. For some fast food restraunts to it was probsbly known they wernt healthy already. Fun fact: everything you eat and drink has micro plastics also
That’s California for you. They post those warning labels on a lot of things. I remember back in the fidget spinner craze when I saw one of those California reproductive harm warning labels on the box of mine.
With the acrylhyde or whatever it's called I can't remember chemical names it's formed when it's cooked with high heat literally toast has it when you cook toast The crispy fries a product from it is the chemical really you cook certain foods with high temps it will make it but it shouldn't be super worried since it's low levels
Even then, the fries get the cancer chemicals from being fried at extreme levels. Same with other fried or cooked foods. Anything made under 190° degrees shouldn’t really harm you.
theyve known this for years its just now it is illegal not to post these... it's more expensive to not add the warning. if they tell you than it's on you to partake.
PFAS are not only in the food packaging, it's also coming from some cookwear as well as clothing like goretex for example. But yeah, digesting it is pretty much the worst case scenario
This is not PFAS, this is acrylamids (what high heat causes some denatured proteins to turn into, e.g., when frying/grilling/braising) and mercury (a pollutant that exists throughout aquatic environments and bio accumulate in anything that lives in them). PFAS is just added insult to injury that they somehow don't seem to have to warn about?!
It’s a US fda requirement for all companies to put the message as long as their products have traces from even by products of these chemicals. Natural food are the best, but then when they get packaged, the message will be there.
The problem is the US and it allows ingredients most other countries ban. That speaks as loud as a burger that doesnt mold until a year or whatever it was. I mean we are just now starting to regulate baby food ffs
Have anyone check the water yet?😅 I don't know why this still a conversation is not like we can do nothing about it 🤷♀️ this is more like spreading terror.
What you're showing in this video is of fast food restaurants in CA. There's a law in California that requires warnings on EVERYTHING that contains a substance that could be carcinogenic, even if it's never caused cancer, has been used for 50+ years, and the fda has deemed it to have such a low risk of causing cancer that it's deemed safe all over the US. This requirement isn't just for food. It's for everything, including clothing, car parts, building materials, fishing lewers, etc. If you order clothing or computer parts from a California business, it will have a warning. No where, but California has this policy because it doesn't make much sense. Just about everything on earth carries some level of risk of causing cancer, so just about everything in California has a warning. Cherries have a cancer warning because the pits contain arsnic. If everything has a warning, it means nothing when it matters. People get so used to seeing unnecessary warnings that we simply ignore them. Look up California prop 65. It's intent is good, but it's a big fail, imho.
From my understanding, becoming an ATC operator is EXTREMELY difficult, requires years of training, and has one of the highest suiside rates with really low pay. Whereas the only requirement to become a POTUS is your BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP and age. So who's the incompetent one there, dump truck?
All of this and now The President is changing the way the govt can protect us, OH God help us! He's def going to make sure the govt doesn't get to do anything about this. I'm so scared.
Another bad part about this is that even if you were careful, because many people consume those, it will still affect you as well. The people with power just don't care about others. It is a scary world we live in. I hope we will have good people taking control.
No, probably just people that actually know what's the truth and aren't mislead by videos like this. She leaves out all the parts where some of the stuff is byproducts of cooking itself, and also that these ingredients are really only a problem if you're consuming them often. They're a ton of more things, but I don't feel like typing it😂 maybe someone else will lol
So, nobody is ADDING acrylamide to hamburgers or fries. It's not an additive. It's a compound that is created from starches in particular when the foods are fried at high heat. It's formed whether you fry hand made fries at home, or a chain restaurant fries factory made fries. It's also formed when you barbecue foods at home.
dude its prop 65. it's on everything. it used to scare me when I was little growing up in California but now I don't care because it's literally everywhere.
Ah, I remember when they first implemented California’s “Prop 65” requirement to notify people of this sort of stuff. What doesn’t cause cancer and such nowadays?
Ever since they made RFK jr in charge of America’s health, these fast food restaurants are covering their butts from lawsuits. They know what’s coming.

Not just starch. Anything fried.
@@robertlee4172 Fried meat creates less acrylamides.
I wouldn't be surprised if the very air we breathe causes cancer at the point
Atp the first thing you see when you wake up is a p65 warning.
seungberry!!
Like we haven’t known this for years????
I abandoned ALL fast food when I learned about gmos 20 years ago. Imagine living nearby and breathing that french fry exhaust smell all day while outside in your yard
A reality i sadly live
can we stop demonizing gmos tho? like we wouldnt have bananas if we didnt…. bananas of the old world dont exist. there are both bad and good gmos, just like anything else.
French fry exhaust is wild
GMOs aren’t a real worry. Other things are. Not GMOs.
I remember back in the fidget spinner craze when I saw one of those California reproductive harm warning labels on the box of mine.
agreed
15 ingredient fries
Mhmmm
With the acrylhyde or whatever it's called I can't remember chemical names it's formed when it's cooked with high heat literally toast has it when you cook toast The crispy fries a product from it is the chemical really you cook certain foods with high temps it will make it but it shouldn't be super worried since it's low levels
Even then, the fries get the cancer chemicals from being fried at extreme levels. Same with other fried or cooked foods. Anything made under 190° degrees shouldn’t really harm you.
Definitely have a craving for McDonald's fries now
Who benefits from this? Sign companies
theyve known this for years its just now it is illegal not to post these... it's more expensive to not add the warning. if they tell you than it's on you to partake.
Oh shut up im eating in peace 😂
It’s a US fda requirement for all companies to put the message as long as their products have traces from even by products of these chemicals. Natural food are the best, but then when they get packaged, the message will be there.
The problem is the US and it allows ingredients most other countries ban. That speaks as loud as a burger that doesnt mold until a year or whatever it was. I mean we are just now starting to regulate baby food ffs
I just wanna know how it got this bad, and nothing is being done about it
Yet, they will not confirm RFK who seems to be one of the few people trying to do something about this.
My frozen spinach comes with the Proposition 65, what DOESN’T cause cancer?!
bro literally step anywhere in California, it’s illegal not to have a sign stating that something *may* have cancer.
They don't care about you. They care about money 🤑
Take care of YOURSELF!
We've ALWAYS known this.
Your McRib has an ingredient used in yoga mats.
0:45 he looks like he's already been for treatment.
lol people just now reading labels man
Their covering all their basics so they won’t get sued
From my understanding, becoming an ATC operator is EXTREMELY difficult, requires years of training, and has one of the highest suiside rates with really low pay. Whereas the only requirement to become a POTUS is your BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP and age. So who's the incompetent one there, dump truck?
All of this and now The President is changing the way the govt can protect us, OH God help us! He's def going to make sure the govt doesn't get to do anything about this. I'm so scared.
😅 ur so dramatic
If they can get away with selling cigarettes, they can get away with this
Uhhhh…… at this point it’s kinda hysterical to see all those outsiders freak out by the label 😂😂
I hope they soon find out everything is labeled.
the only question i have now is WHY put these chemicals in the first place
To get rid of us.
Because California is a deranged nanny state.
We've already known the horrors of fast-food McDonald's specifically for a very long time, yet people still eat out.
As a Canadian here and someone who worked at a McDonald’s in Canada…what is going on with the food in the USA???
So basically we’re all cooked. Great.
Seed oils are dangerous.
Having just one French frie cooked in seed oils equals the dangers of having one cigarette.
Another bad part about this is that even if you were careful, because many people consume those, it will still affect you as well. The people with power just don't care about others. It is a scary world we live in.
I hope we will have good people taking control.
The 27 dislikes are probably those people that always say "well yeah, EVERYTHING causes cancer, who cares"
Back in the day the paint on McDonald’s glasses contained lead.
I'm with the people who say that those Warning Signs are there more to avoid lawsuits than actually warn consumers.
Seriously? Do people honestly not think that FAST FOOD causes health issues?! Lol my goodness…
So asians were correct about saying this and that causes cancer lol (idk its kinda a habit here to say that)
they know it's unhealthy, but most don't know it can cause CANCER.
dude its prop 65. it's on everything. it used to scare me when I was little growing up in California but now I don't care because it's literally everywhere.
“Proposition 65 may contain materials known to cause cancer! AAAH!” **leaves running-me-shaped-hole in the wall**
0:57 “Bleudy kanca, whut ?” 🗣🔥🔥
the fact that people are actually shocked by this is concerning.. like obviously consuming cheap unhealthy heavily-processed foods can lead to health issues
And I'm still going to eat fast food anyways. Hello sweet death, take meeee~
ripping off my grinch meal socks and throwing them in the trash while watching 😭
There was prop 65 warnings on every single room and hallway in the college I went too and the appartment I lived in. It’s insane.
I’m 14 years old. We ate at McDonalds on Monday. I got extremely sick. Diarrhea, nausea, stomachaches, cramps, I almost fainted. I’m still sick and you can easily tell I am! I keep wanting to secretly throw up all my food and I keep spending five minutes on the toilet, I keep using the bathroom a lot! It’s affecting me in school!!! No longer gonna eat at McDonald’s, I’ll stick to Mexican restaurants - at least the safe ones I know. I stay in the bathroom for long times either for diarrhea or I can’t poop but I have poop ready. I’m not joking at all
In food:
The pesticides used to grow the food, the caramel flavouring, the salts, the sugars (which are not natural), and the preservatives.
The caramel flavour alone causes a number of diseases.
i feel like we already knew this- i’m not surprised, js lemme eat in peace
As an Australian this is so crazy to me. I've never seen a product here say it may cause cancer. Not once
Thank you so So much for this video!!!
RFK please clean up our food and medicine!!!! 😮💨😭
I STILL drink out of those Shrek glasses 🙃🥲
Anything that is seared /toasted to give you that perfect texture and golden color, produces this chemical. Not just fast food but also in your very own home.
You know it’s bad when McDonald’s is telling you the truth
All this did is make me want a big Mac and fries 😂
Whats weird is how many people will tell you "i dont care" or " oh who cares!"... 😢
It blows my mind the ignorance in our country. You need a damn sign posted in order to see oh there’s chemicals in the food. People are too lazy to do their research. If a damn cheeseburger won’t mold sitting on the counter for a year shouldn’t that make your light bulb go off? Too bad labs can’t grow brain cells for some people. And the girl commenting someone should go to jail, I just can’t 😂
Actually I went to McDonalds and im not even surprised i even saw the sign and the fact that they are selling the foods to customers is actually insane and i feel like it has been going on for years maybe but the fact that it cause blood cancer is insane they shouldn’t be selling their food to the customers if the customer knows their is harmful chemicals in the food but that’s all I have to say
Respect to companies for being honest and transparent about their cancer causing products.
Model railroader here. Model trains also have this warning. I'd say wash your hands after playing with model trains if you are in the hobby.
HELP- not me eating McDonalds while watching this 😭
Is shopping at whole food the safest bc i literally go days without eating because i am scared of of all these foods with cancer in them. I know Whole Foods do not sell certain toxins, not allowed in their shelves
Also English and European , Indian brands are corn syrup free and 100’s other nasty chemicals. There are specialty markets that carry all this. Or check the international aisles at regular grocery stores for some other options.
I once had a dream of MCDONALDS and it was showing me the interior being covered in toxic green slime
My dog refuses to eat maccys fries, she'll eat any others from different takeaways, tells me a lot.
Who would've thought that Liver King was onto something?
thank you for your investigative journalism. i shared this.
