A good and thorough review - I know a lot of people dismissed the game initially because of its origins and theme, but hopefully this Switch release helps more folks discover TFH and maybe even grow to love it!
Though Im not at all a fan of My Little Pony
Im glad the Fighting is Magic team finally got a full game out there after all this time.
Also, it has come to my attention that Ryan Faust is Lauren's BROTHER.

A fighting game with a lot of passion and heart behind it I could say the same thing about skullgirls that game rocks 🎸 😎

They saw their passion about the game and they have them thief engine for free during a crowdfunding.
I really want to play the story mode! Can't wait to have this game one day :)

it is a shame to see this game servers almost empty every single time
Console launch did a good job of getting things lively again for a while, but I'd be lying if I said that it was easy to get matches without getting on discord and hitting up Mane6's official discord to actually get in deeper on the community. :(

Do you need Nintendo switch online membership for any parts of the game to be made available???
I imagine online functionality require it, but that's on Nintendo, and not Mane6. If you get the game on steam, Humble, or Epic Games Store, no additional online service is required.

Hasbro as a company is clearly in a space where their top priority is to market what they are currently making products for. If you want a game with the My Little Pony IP attached to it, then please feel free to purchase My Little Pony: A Maritime Bay Adventure.
Mane6Dev, a subsidiary of Maximum Games and their indie publishing arm Modus, have no interest or legal footing to touch up a decade old PC Fangame and put it on Nintendo Switch while risking the wrath of Hasbro's legal team.

@@oscar1012 Sorry, just... I've been seeing some variation of "We don't want this game, we want the game you WERE making in 2013!" sent to the devs in nearly every public forum possible for the past decade.
I thought i gave a fairly calm and measured, if verbose response.
@@ClexYoshi they weren't saying that at all tho, the commentor was just saying itd be nice if Fighting Is Magic were ported, even if it is a pipe dream.
They were not purposfully "avoiding" anything, u just blew what they were saying waaay out of proportion

see, *I* was trying to avoid engendering comments like these by directing viewers of the review to the Hold Back to Block documentary, which shows many, MANY reasons why bringing back the decade-long C&D lettered game is a bad idea.
