Chick is asked about how he composed the tune "Return to Forever" found on the first Return to Forever album of the same name. He then walks us through a couple iterations of his composing process, and how he "constructs a puzzle" until the piece is finished.

I truly dig where yer coming from sir,I had the pleasure of meeting him personally at Catalina bar & Grill years ago when it was on Cahuenga & Hollywood blvd me & my magnificent girlfriend got there extremely early & itz seating was 1st come 1st served so of course we sat directly in front & the gig wasah blast,but what I remembered thâ most is when Chic himself came & introduced himself & His lovely Wife Gale Moran we chatted for ah few minutes & I shall hold that encounter deep within my soul I cried asthough if I had lost ah Family member & I realized i had & as itz been said"You just Returned too Forever" thanx Chic Tell Mozart & Beethoven I personally said thanx for there awesome protegé(Rip)

6 months after his passing & I still feel sad, his music was a reflection of his personality, & it was VERY INSPIRING!!! A TRUE MASTER!!! You will be missed be us all!!! R.I.P. my friend, my Go Bless you & your family forever, God Bless!!!
