A Walmart near me clearanced out the Beef Boss truck two weeks ago. Think it was on the shelf like three weeks before it hit clearance. Had a sticker for $15. Scanned for $7. Score one truck for me.
Love that Black Panther, really excited to get an update especially after Robo pointed the size creep. I really wish they would have included a unmasked head.
I was super happy initially because of the added range, and the left side doesn't wiggle as much, but after I realized it was actually part of the set up the magic wore off. It doesn't really help THAT much and I'd rather have a solid shoulder.
It's great to know it's an option. If they use this body for Daredevil, for instance, it might be worth the added range even if compromises the solidity of the shoulder. Less so for characters like Vulcan.

I have zero attachment to MOTU, but I picked up that He-Man. It's just a fun figure, and feels like a perfect update to a vintage toy. Plus... I'm just saying... easy Conan custom. Just gotta throw some paint on the orange parts and get a new head, and I'll finally have an affordable 1/12 Conan figure :)

The He-Man figure looks more in proportion for the cartoon and looks incredible, as the toys always had that short legs & arms issue and never actually looked like the cartoon - so i personally think this is the best cartoon He-Man figure ever. But i don't collect MOTU so won't be picking this up........unless i see it for half price in my toy store someday
As I browsed Walmart and that food truck hit my peripheral. I thought Yeah Robo bought that. I’m not in for collecting all of those but I need a few because they are small enough to be figures for my figures. My Deadpool man cave needs more miniature IPs for his hang out. It’s a fun toy.
I didn't realize how much I needed that new Black Panther. I was indifferent when it was announced, but my Avengers display is mainly classic 'big name' icons, and I don't have a Black Panther or the Vulcan figure. My plan is to get that on Pulse along with Toad to save on postage, since Toad is cheapest on there, at least in the UK anyway.
Like I said, same boat, I didn't think I needed a new Black Panther until I started seeing more pics of this, and I took finding it at my local Walmart as a sign. Definitely glad I grabbed it.
I've gotten used to Black Panther's hands hanging a bit low, just because that's how the MCU version looked because of Chadwick Boseman's long arms. That comic book Black Panther is perfect to me. It looks good, has decent articulation and it's close enough to my favourite Black Panther costume that it'll hold me over until we get the costume from Christopher Priest's run... seriously Hasbro, give me that one! Black Panther with that cape and some gold accents on his costume.
Yeah Jazzwares I feel still needs to improve alot oo their AEW line. Scale is definitely one thing and the way they handle articulation joints. Like making a boot cut on pants legs, suited bodies getting an ab crunch directly in the middle of the suit, and the example in the video. BTW if it helps for customization the AEW women's figure can be pulled apart from the legs and the abdomen. It may not look like it, but it's an intentional design.

I considered maybe I can use the arms for the Diana figure from the Cartoon Dungeons and Dragons line, but I'd need to heavily modify it so it can scale better.

As a 20XX kid, I personally prefer the original He-man proportions, but 40th has some nice accessories. I love this new BP. He looks like the perfect representation of my iconic look, circa 05-08 comics. If the cape ropes had some paint he'd be perfect. Leia got some real gun slinger energy.
I think that the Grin Reaper body mold is overall good, but the shoulders are way too low and the biceps are too long and smooth which gives it a weaker look compared to other figures like the 80th cap who had newly sculpted biceps
I feel that Black Panther needs some blue dry brushed on. Blue has almost universally been used as highlights for black in comics since the Golden Age. It’s make it pop.
Cool video! I picked up the Jade Cargill too, even though I don't even watch AEW. She's just super cool-looking. I considered making her into a realistic Starfire. I'm still on the fence about the He-Man, but seeing how much broader he is, I may get him if he ever goes on sale. I'll have to check out the movie version first though. Gotta get that Leia for sure, and I see great potential customs with that Black Panther. The others, I can pass on.
That's john romita jr black panther, I think it's supposed to be grey but it comes off looking more blueish grey and he's not supposed to have ninja toe they just used the hand ninjas feet, I'd like to see someone try to put in his pupils.
I think you should use the AEW Jade figure for a Red She-Hulk custom instead. We already have a She-Hulk figure, and hasbro will probably do a re-release of the figure in different outfit. Plus we got a MCU She-Hulk coming too. I would love to see how that custom comes out if you do that, but that is just my opinion. Fun video keep it up.
I love the Cargill figure just have to echo what you say about the bottom half. Love the line but some of them just dont have the best leg articulation, comes down to the crotch piece. Always love a figure or fodder Robo! Have a great day everyone!

The original masterverse chest is definitely too narrow, but this version is too swolen. Something in between the two would be best, but I doubt we'll get that.
The first Heman was made to be from revelations cartoon. He was perfect for that show, but people hated because it wasn't a remake of the same figure again and again.
Naw, the figure thinned him out in all the wrong places. No taper to the torso, lack of traps, taking bulk out of the heavy arms, less mass to the head and hair. From the waist down totally works, almost looks out of place under the top half. And that's not me all "He-Man's gotta have huge muscles, man man man", that's me comparing side by side.

I was lucky enough to find 4 examples of U.S. Agent on the pegs at Target. Thanks to this wave still being sold in window packaging, I was able to cherry pick the figure with best paint and wing condition. I know this video isn't about windowless packaging, and I've avoided the discourse as to not be caught up in the vitriol, but it seems relevant, to me anyway. Like when I found the Negative Future Foundation Spidey in the wild, I would have passed on John Walker without being able to see what I'm buying. My solution to this issue is to only buy Legends from online retailers I know will honor returns with an exact replacement or a full refund.
I get all that, but like I've been saying, I get most of my stuff online anymore anyway, so there's no checking paints beforehand anyway. And if I do pick up something at retail, like Black Panther here, I make sure the tape on all sides is intact. That, and I didn't have much to worry about when it comes to paints on that particular figure, heh.
@@TheFwoosh what made me think of what I said was that little bit of white poking out behind the stripes on U.S. Agents chest that you pointed out. Of the 4 I saw, 3 had that bit of white exposed. I got lucky that the wings weren't deformed on the good one. Most of mine come from online also, but I can't resist prowling the aisles.

That Jade Cargill figure looks like it'd make a pretty sweet She-Hulk (or maybe an alternate head for Storm? There was that period where she had this exact 'do but with long...front...tassles?), but how does she stack up against other She-Hulks or other female Marvel Legends? It looks like she has some good height based on your wrap-up where she's standing next to US Agent. More comparisons, please! :)
i've been thinking about getting bad batch cad bane for myself since i already got clone wars cad bane for my sibling on one hand there's very little stopping me from getting it, but on the other hand, i want to wait for thee BOBF bane that's coming out eventually
then again, multiple versions of a character on a shelf makes for better displays, right? bad batch bane on a shelf with hunter, and hopefully BOBF bane with boba or cobb vanth

I would suggest that you shouldn't start a jazwares are collection because the figures have tons of issues such as proportions scale loose parts dead headsculpts etc

@@brainlock72 I was thinking more on soft goods (and more of a full cowboy poncho), as for example the second version of Cal kestis came with a plastic kind of poncho, but don't think it looked that good. In any case if one was looking for something kind of similar to that of leia, the target obi wan could work as that one has soft goods.

I was lucky enough to find 4 examples of U.S. Agent on the pegs at Target. Thanks to this wave still being sold in window packaging, I was able to cherry pick the figure with best paint and wing condition.
I know this video isn't about windowless packaging, and I've avoided the discourse as to not be caught up in the vitriol, but it seems relevant, to me anyway. Like when I found the Negative Future Foundation Spidey in the wild, I would have passed on John Walker without being able to see what I'm buying.
My solution to this issue is to only buy Legends from online retailers I know will honor returns with an exact replacement or a full refund.
I get all that, but like I've been saying, I get most of my stuff online anymore anyway, so there's no checking paints beforehand anyway. And if I do pick up something at retail, like Black Panther here, I make sure the tape on all sides is intact. That, and I didn't have much to worry about when it comes to paints on that particular figure, heh.
@@TheFwoosh what made me think of what I said was that little bit of white poking out behind the stripes on U.S. Agents chest that you pointed out. Of the 4 I saw, 3 had that bit of white exposed. I got lucky that the wings weren't deformed on the good one.
Most of mine come from online also, but I can't resist prowling the aisles.
@@TheFwoosh also, I forgot to add I have that Black Panther in my pile of loot as well as the white version whose name escapes me. The retro BP has long been my favorite, but I think this will take the main display!
This does honestly make me kinda want that Jade. I wanted to see first how her height was.
That Jade Cargill figure looks like it'd make a pretty sweet She-Hulk (or maybe an alternate head for Storm? There was that period where she had this exact 'do but with long...front...tassles?), but how does she stack up against other She-Hulks or other female Marvel Legends? It looks like she has some good height based on your wrap-up where she's standing next to US Agent. More comparisons, please! :)

Yeah, that's tricky, when there's multiple versions. Like I want BoBF Boba Fett the most, so of course it's the last to release.
then again, multiple versions of a character on a shelf makes for better displays, right? bad batch bane on a shelf with hunter, and hopefully BOBF bane with boba or cobb vanth

I would suggest that you shouldn't start a jazwares are collection because the figures have tons of issues such as proportions scale loose parts dead headsculpts etc

@@brainlock72 I was thinking more on soft goods (and more of a full cowboy poncho), as for example the second version of Cal kestis came with a plastic kind of poncho, but don't think it looked that good. In any case if one was looking for something kind of similar to that of leia, the target obi wan could work as that one has soft goods.

They don't share a body. Black Panther is the new Vulcan mold and USAgent is the old Reaper mold.
