The best tip that this husband and wife team took away from this video was designating a time period for completing a task and walking away when that time limit was reached. We try to balance so much between our RUclips channel, homesteading, homeschooling and homemaking that its very late into the evening before we finish a particular task. Designating time for each of those and knowing we get to walk away (done or not) will likely be a big shift for us in productivity and mental health. Thank you, Gillian! 😇
I just found you, and am now binge-watching your videos. What a gold mine of information, with such pleasant, entertaining, easy to watch videos! I love your straightforward method of getting right to the point, and the honesty, in that you LIVE your advice. Browsing your video history, it’s astonishing how much you have accomplished, and continue to, while homeschooling small children! (And you are always perfectly put together and gorgeous, to boot!). Egads woman, ye make me feel like a sloth, but at the same time, SO inspired! I’m 58 and disabled, but for the first time in a long time, I feel as though it isn’t too late for me to be successful. A very impressive young lady, and quite the force to be reckoned with. I’m most interested in anything you have to say, and will be blasting through your videos. Thank you so much! ❤️
A great mentor used to always tell me; "Don't confuse activity with accomplishment!". This feels like it is right on point for your first tip. It's truly amazing how often the best advice is either obvious or simple. Keep doing what you do, Gillian! You are fantastic!
I had a couple of takeaways. 1. the difference between productivity and busy, and being clear on what I am trying to produce. 2. doing the top 3 tasks first. I always procrastinate on the top tasks, and then don't get them finished..Thank you Gillian. I am new to this channel, and am loving it!
I love all your videos, they are so helpful! Thank you Gillian you are a true blessing! It is great to see a homeschool mom succeed at all areas of life! I graduated my last homeschool daughter last year. Yay!!
I’ve been experimenting with time blocking/calendar blocking and it’s been really helpful for being realistic with what I can get done in a day and not allowing a task to get drawn out longer than it needs to. I had really mixed feelings about this technique in the past but I’m glad I was open to experiencing it differently!
I was just thinking about these same topics today, and being a member of your Start Up Society course I was able to get the results quickly that you mentioned in the fourth point from other members within the Start Up Society Slack Group Community recently, So yes asking for advice definitely is a time saver and productivity booster.
Thanks for the updates and instructions, Gillian. Very helpful! BTW. We have something to make Kajabi, Teachable, and other course-building platforms better, and would love to hear your feedback. Can I send the details to you via email, if so what email should I use?

This video popped up at the perfect time. Yesterday I wasn't as productive, I went to bed wondering how to make it better.
You got this! One day at a time. ❤️

Great tips! Knocking out the biggest tasks first reminds me of "Eat That Frog" by Brian Tracy.
