Nope but my friend has it. Im not saying the m8 is laggy or anything like that either. They are both great devices and a user wont go wrong with either device but what im saying is that the S5 isnt laggy at all

Well, since you asked :) I upgraded my S2 running 4.1.2 to the S5 and have had it for a few days now. I generally like the look and feel of the phone itself, but I'm pretty disappointed with Kit Kat so far. For starters, many of the apps are not as nice as they were on Jelly Bean, especially the Calendar app, it looked much better before and had more features too. The E-mail app has gone back to the ICS bug that I had where it won't always mark mail read when I delete them, so when I open up Outlook I see unread messages in all my accounts. The absolute worst however is the fact that you can't use the VPN services unless you use a PIN or Password to secure the phone. Now, I don't understand why Samsung finds it necessary to require any security just to use a VPN (None needed on my S2), but why did they not include the fingerprint sensor as an accecptible method?? If you want to use VPN you have to disable the fingerprint sensor, and it can't be turned back on unless you erase all of your saved credentials in Credential Storage. This is really stupid. Samsung told me to "have a nice day!" after they said you can't have both on at the same time... I do like the new TW ability to delete and add pages, and the phone itself is a bit snappier than my S2 was, but honestly if it wasn't for the fact that my S2's GPS was flakey, I'd return this, as I really need the VPN to work, and there really doesn't seem to be any advantage of the S5 over an S4 if you can't use the fingerprint... I didn't think the VPN thing would be such an issue since I could just find another client, but I've tried 6 or so already and none of them support PPTP anymore, I guess because the built in one did and there was no reason to make an app for it... Anybody know of a basic pptp vpn client? PS, Really love your reviews Tim, keep it up!
s5 is great for me, great battery and processor. Even when I put my CPU cfq on powesafe it still runs smooth. The only downside for me is the weight of the phone. I compared it to my s3 and guess what, the s5 is lighter, although its bigger. And you know what they say "if something feels heavy, the quality is higher"
I'm with Sprint and I haven't been able to access the Web or receive texts while on the phone. I can't find any settings to change that either. I can when I'm using WiFi but not using LTE or 3G
So far so good. Liking the phone especially camera. Coming from Note 3, wanted something easier to handle especially when I don't have much pocket room. Task button instead of menu button takes a little getting used to. Gallery opens faster than note 3 but do experience lag every so often. Chromecast loses connection sometimes. I see a chromecast update I received says it was to add note support for Samsung. On Verizon btw.

In my Opinion The GS5 is what the GS4 should have been from the Getgo, The GS5 is also water resistant and adds a finger print scanner and a Heart Rate Monitor, Im not understanding why People think Samsung phones look like Apple Phones, They Don't, In no way shape or Form! And at least Samsung allows you to swap the Battery out if need be! I also own a iPhone 5 and it is not nearly as nice as a Samsung phone, Connecting to iTunes...Boooo!

It is due to Spark phones only having one antenna. If using data while on the phone is a big deal to you your better off returning this phone.

kcled01 I think only Sprint Spark phones have this issue but T-Mobile should be able to do both but you should call them first.
