Back in the 50s there was a line of dinnerware called Fiestaware. They came on a vivid orange where the glaze contained uranium salts. Made the Geiger counter sound off right smartly. It was taken off the market and was already getting to be a rare find in the late 60s when we played with it in HS Chemistry class. Salts of uranium are some of the only sources of good orange ceramic glaze.
