Plein-Air painting at Enoshima

While it was still warm (it’s getting quite chilly here in Japan too) we went with Kana to Enoshima to do a bit of watercolor sketching.
I really like the far side of the island, where a steep staircase goes down to the sea. With small cafes and restaurants on the cliff, it’s a very stark but beautiful, scenic place.

Aah I love it! I recently bought a Lamy Safary because of you and I really love it! I use it for drawing and taking notes at class and it helps with my wrist pain! Sadly I have been unable to find a waterproof inkfor it at local art stores and the Sailor one you use is really expensive to import :(

Most dark sunglasses make everything darker and little bit more saturated but they don’t change how colors look. :)

Can you give some waterproof colored ink reccomendation? I really like using sepia, purple, and blue as an outline for my watercolor, but I wanna some variety. I use copic, kuretake, and other fineliner, but nowadays I really into dip pen using sumi and indian ink. Which is better, acrylic ink or indian ink? I've seen people use acrylic ink, but I've heard it's not good with watercolor..
