This was absolutely fantastic, as someone who read the books, this gives new audiences so much but also nothing, I love that. Normally, trailers struggle now at not giving away too much information, but this was perfect.

It is heartbreaking to see Claudia in the yellow dress looking so defeated. Claudia thinks she found a home but in reality, her grisly end. It's also evident that she has a lot of resentment for both Lestat and Louis. Lestat was right, the old world vampires are vicious.

Even if it was a one sided fight, Louis ought to have defended himself even out of reflection but Lestat suddenly had not a single trace of damage? Not bruises, no blood, he was completely pristine at the end of it when he came down from the sky. It was weird even for a TV show and the show seemed way to careful to make that mistake with simple makeup.
And please don't make other countries wait weeks or even months! Release it everywhere at the same time, and if it's only in English (with according subtitles), I'm sure a lot of people would happily take that over not being able to watch it legally at all!

I’m so hype. Loved season 1 just as much as I loved reading Anne Rice’s Chronicles when they were re-emerging on the scene after the 1994 film. I’m glad they’re reimagining the books and even paying occasional homage to the film, but keeping the spirit of both with its own flair. It’s cool to see how things have changed.

I just finished binging the first season. OMG. I knew Rashid was Armand in the 5th episode (I think that’s the one where he puts his hand on Louis to restrain him)it just clicked. Because I’ve read all the books so many times. I was like OMFG! And then it was. I LOVE THIS SHOW. They’re doing an AMAZING job!
This series should be held up as the perfect example of how a modern adaptation SHOULD be done. And what it looks like when it is done right. The writers have elevated the story for a new platform. Its not available in most countries sadly. I cant recommend it to anyone, the only way I can watch it is by paying for a vpn and watching it on my laptop. Most people that arent already fans just arent willing to do all that, which is understandable.
I know people didn’t give it a chance, but after the first half of the season, it makes you want it more. Thankfully, they did spilt it into two season from how the book is, giving us one half from them fleeing and being in Europe in the second half.
This show is seriously so underrated, every actor is phenomenal and the storytelling is BEAUTIFUL. Believable, heartbreaking and makes you think. A perfect series almost, if you will. 🖤

Because nobody has AMC plus. There was increase from initial release just through word of mouth recommendations and their short partnership with Max.
Availability is low because of its digital distribution being on AMC+.
Additionally, the older movie is just simply better.

I know people didn’t give it a chance, but after the first half of the season, it makes you want it more. Thankfully, they did spilt it into two season from how the book is, giving us one half from them fleeing and being in Europe in the second half.

This show is seriously so underrated, every actor is phenomenal and the storytelling is BEAUTIFUL. Believable, heartbreaking and makes you think. A perfect series almost, if you will. 🖤

Probably because Louis was not well and Armand thought it was too much for him to bear.
@Ocean-gh7wz Armand is quite a monstrous character and treacherous liar in the books, so I highly doubt what he's doing is solely for benevolent reasons.
Because I can truly see Louis begging Armand to erase his memory off the pain off Claudia death.

At first I was very insecure about the recast but it was more a emotional response, after these trailers I even wanted Delainey to have been Claudia from the beginning, she looks like a doll, so cute.
