      ***** Hey Daron - Just wanted to let you know that I'm not going to be able provide a full i3 vs i5 review as my i3 unit has suddenly stopped working! Working with the returns/replacement policy but I wanted to give you a heads up that although the review I promised (about 2 months ago lol) still isn't up - it's unlikely I'll have one now due to this issue.
      Apologies - hopefully you can still find other interesting videos on my channel! :)

    Great tutorial, thanks. One question. Does this device has a fan installed? Is it noisy?

    Hi! Thanks for this very informative video. I have laptop 2.5 inch hdd, which will fit in the i5 model that I have bought, my concern is will the system boot from that old hdd? I have windows 8 running on dual core processor with 2 gb ram in old laptop hdd.

      +purnima anand Np glad you enjoyed it! Yes it should boot no problem :) Would highly recommend investing in an SSD though

    Hello there! Can you please tell what the difference is between the RYK and RYH models (I couldn't figure it out by reading the Intel website)?

    • @Thetechchap
      @Thetechchap  9 лет назад

      Glauco Chiyaki Sesta Hi! The RYK has the smaller chassis size, but you are limited to the M.2 storage. The RYH has the larger (taller) chassis size, but provides for expanded storage via a HDD/SSHD/SSD. Which you choose is entirely dependent upon your intended usage & storage needs. So identical other than the RYH is bigger and can fit more traditional hard drives.

    64 bit or 32 bit ?

    • @Thetechchap
      @Thetechchap  9 лет назад

      Depends in what OS you install, that's where you choose 32 or 64.

    • @Liam-yi6bp
      @Liam-yi6bp 9 лет назад

      is the hardware meant for 32 bit or 64 bit?

    • @Thetechchap
      @Thetechchap  9 лет назад

      +Liam Hanmore you can do either. Its optimised for 64 i suppose as you can install 2 dimms of ram (depending on the size of each stick you could have 32gb for example)

    yeah... some day you will be buying M$ mobile phones to glue on the screen like if it was a PC to run wind 10 :).

    • @Thetechchap
      @Thetechchap  9 лет назад

      +guily6669 That day is nearly here - the new Windows 10 phones coming in the next month or so have this very ability, to dock with a monitor and become 'almost' full desktops! It was announced at the most recent Microsoft conference where they unveiled it alongside the new Surface Book.

      +The Tech Chap TV Yeah, I saw it.
      It looks cool, I wish I had one, but I'm stuck with my quad core android phone which suck, I don't see what's so good on android for everyone to talk about it.
      Hell even my desktop turns on faster and I open 10 or more web pages in the time android would be asking the pin
