**Built in 2012 ABANDONED in 2021** Exploring a Forgotten Abandoned $8 Million Dollar Dream Mansion

  • This 6000 Square Foot Home was custom built in 2012. It costed just over $1.6 million to construct, but is now worth an unbelievable $7.8 Million Dollars when it sold to a developer just this year.
This is the neighbouring house to the home in my previous video. Although power is still on, they will be completely stripped of any content that is reusable and salvageable before demolition.

It’s a dream home that is still a fairly young house. All those millions of dollars gone to waste. It’s in too good condition to be demolished. What is wrong with people? Such a beautiful house. For the most part it still looks fairly new. It’s very upsetting that it is set to be destroyed. Thank you for the tour of it .

I've been in New residential custom home trades, for 30 years. There's, absolutely, nothing wrong with this, and the one next door. Just can't wrap my head around these being demolished; it's a travesty. Thanks for showing us around, and your constant enthusiasm.

I'm still trying to lift my jaw off the floor, omg, GORGEOUS house, the best you've shown yet. Why are these homes vacant and sold so soon Ethan? Do they go into foreclosure? Do the people that lived there only 9 yrs build bigger homes? I just can't wrap my head around this house being demolished. Seriously, the kitchen cabinets/counter tops alone probably cost upwards of $80,000 or more. (US dollars) We are talking really high end here. Wow, just wow.

It's the pool, the spiral staircase, and the kitchen that do it for me. The fact that this house is 9 years old and is being demolished...my blood is boiling. We could resolve the issue of people becoming homeless, and yet...we have a greedy, wasteful, selfish society (not everyone, just in general).

Watched loads of these videos now. (I'm in the UK, where homes are very expensive) The all seem extreme, grandiose, massive fantastic staircases, rather ridiculous living areas, strangely 'smallish kitchens' for the number of mouths potentially to be fed and probably expensive to maintain in general upkeep and day to day running expenses. No logic, in a country where people are living out of cars, families in motel rooms and tent cities. But I would just love the opportunity to spend a few days in one :) as they say, how the other half live, or waste! - meanwhile lecturing to us to save the planet.

Too upsetting seeing waste for profit excess, especially the vague attempt at recycling lately by these large companies. They don't really care about the future of our planet. Nothing to stop them either. I can't watch any longer. Old abandoned homes in the woods is a whole different experience that I enjoy.

  • @MzJust1girl

This house. Oh.My.Gosh! This "tear down" house is nicer than anything I have EVER lived in or ever will live in. I am 64yrs so it is doubtful I will ever be able to afford even half of this house. The waste all over the world is such a friggin shame. I just watched a multiple demolition of high rises brought down in China.
I would be happy with 1500 square feet of a beauty like this one. Good job on showcasing these lovely homes, Ethan. Like many others I love these but also the mid-century modern houses, or even old farmhouses.

Rich folk tend to rip out furnishings/fittings because they view them as second-hand/used. They want everything to be new and exactly to their taste. Might be "disgusting" to us but it's their money and prerogative, I guess. Just hope that salvageable fittings like kitchen units etc get donated (but unlikely).

Looks like the builder's model home and was not lived in. The red couches were left over from staging.

It was 100% lived in. The family who lived here has seen the video and talked with me about it.

@@ethanminnie hope you didn't get into trouble. You never take anything and leave only foot prints (sometimes), all you do is document. And you do that very well and with the utmost respect. 👍✌❤🇺🇸

What a stress to fill so much spaces and pay taxes on every square extra meter. I rather have a small cozy place

Ethan your explorations and commentary are great. I'm new to your channel and I look forward to seeing more!! It's amazing these nice houses being demolished. It seems so wasteful and wrong. It really makes you wonder how decisions like this are made. Keep being fabulous and safe travels 🌻

    Ethan!
Why do these people build these gigantic Mansions and spend millions of dollars , and turn around and demolished it? It doesn't make since!
This Mansion has some beautiful rooms and potential that could of been a master piece!
It is discussing what these people do.
You should of seen Mike Tyson"s Manson. He built this huge Mansion , and sold it to some one else. And they turned around and abandoned it.
It is in a ruled area way out in the bunnies. I think it was in Ohio.
    This Mansion is beautiful !
I really in joked your tour.
    You are my favorite 😍 💛 💓 💕.
