How many agencies can provide backlinks like that? It sounds like almost impossible task, unless you know some moderators of Wikipedia or something like that
Definitely not impossible! But also definitely a lot more involved than most are used to. This is one of the ways you can get links from really high-end publications.

But the point is - it's not only about websites with "Write for us" pages, it is websites in general. 95-99% of all websites are spammy overall and it goes for all kinds of links, even the ones you got passively/organically. However, it is always the best course of action to check the website before you make an effort to put a link there.
agree to an extent, but this was just a follow up to my previous video that was specifically about write for us blogs, which I think end up being worse on average than "normal" sites as for the most part they are just farms trying to attract buyers who know who to find them using search operators
