  • In this episode the build continues on the Tamiya VQS. The buggy really starts to take shape unfolding an intricate and well laid out chassis. The more I build it, the more it becomes one of my favorite builds, and buggies from tamiya.

    Tamiya models are always a joy to build even if they are not the fastest on the racetrack. Your painting of the front suspension parts looks awesome. Personally I question Tamiya’s decision to mold the dampers in bright yellow, I always thought it made it look more toy-like. Maybe that is what they were going for, anyway, that is why I put the Big Bore dampers on my model. I don’t know if they work any better than the supplied ones though.

      Feel the same exact way about the yellow dampers.. lol, my same exact words.. Though they do go well with some of their kits, I don’t think they go well with all and definitely take away from most. Big Bore shocks are definitely nice stuff. Thanks for watching friend 👍
