Red is definitely a statement colour. Enjoy playing around with it. I need to pull out my reds and darker colours and play.... Especially as we're going into autumn.
As rewarding as it is to use up products that have been in our collection for a longer period of time, it’s also amazing to use up products we love!! I really commend you for trying to use up the kiko lipstick despite knowing you love it! I’m trying to get more into the habit of using my nicer products, I used to hesitate so much to use them bc they were expensive 😭 but they’re going to expire either way! Might as well use them up and love them!
It's hard to get myself to do it, I agree, especially with the pricier products where the packaging is beautiful and I want to admire them in my collection!
I like to use dark red in the center of the lips and then a lighter red or any other colour on the outside. Kinda like the asian girls. Maybe you can try this with the darker lopsticks.
I got so excited when you mentioned ninth house !! I read it in February and it was a fav for me i loved the eerie dark academia vibes !! But i was under the assumption that it was not YA. Deff some mature content in there. Also the combo you did with adding the lip butter on top of the the other two lippies towards the was cuuute
Those tower 28 glosses have an odd smell even when they’re brand new so it might not be going off yet, I’m almost finished with my new tube and I’ve had it for a few years
Hoping this will give me inspiration I rarely use lipstick anymore but also don’t want to get rid of them either paired down my lip products. Typically will wear lip balm but found myself going for pink or red. Also don’t wear messy products since I try to drink more water at work. So lip balms just work better.
I've just had to throw some lipstick and lip balm out because I've got a chest infection and I've been wearing them. If you use lipstick after being sick you can get sick again. I get sick really easily coz I'm asthmatic. I think in future I'll apply some to my finger and then to my lips to avoid putting it straight to my lips and then this happening again. I'm gutted as I really liked the shade and it's no longer available. Oh well I have an excuse to buy a new one now I suppose.
I like red on like everyone but myself 😂it's so odd. But I think a lot of people might feel that way 🤷it's probably all about getting out of our comfort zone
😊Great idea. I'm terrible using red 😅😅😅but I was trying to use a pretty sheer red mini lipstick. Starting small
You can do it!!
I absolutely commend you for this project you ambitious gal! I think this is one so many of us would benefit from doing myself included
lipstick project pan or red lipstick specifically?? i definitely have too many but idk if that's a common thing haha
I give you a lot of credit for digging out product! I don't!😂😂😂
I definitely don’t do it every time, but I tried to do it unless there’s a strong reason not to!

I think red it so pretty in the summer! ❤
I think red all times of year! Just depends on the tones :)

I saw online a hack, put a tissue atop your painted lips and dust a little powder. Haven't tried myself but perhaps it makes less things less messy
I used to do this a lot! I should get back in the habit

I just found you and I love your content!!!
Awe thank you so much!!

It was for sure darker content than Shadow & Bone, but still very much felt like YA to me! I'm glad I read it but not sure that I'll read the sequel
You look so pretty!! 😍 Loving the red lipstick 💄
Thank you so much 😚😚

Really! That's weird, it's very chemically. Still trying to use it up asap

It is tricky to figure out how to make lipsticks work in your every day life! I’m still getting used to it
If the red lipstick gets messy try setting the lipstick with a transparent or translucent powder
True! I used to do that, not sure why I stopped

That's true, even with clothing there's a lot of types of pieces where I'm like well, I know that looks better on other people, but not me!
