@@eddipl5055 I haven't seen or read anything so it's not a spoiler, but in a non-innocent brain it works like this: One episode ago, they said Himekawa's dad was sleeping with young talents = he probably wasn't sleeping with his wife = his wife was probably doing the same with young men = nobody can know who Himekawa's dad is. They tried to explain the fact that Aqua didn't question that because he wanted to be free, but it's unrealistic since "not being sure who the dad is" is a given in modern societies... well it was probably common in ancient times too but there was no DNA test to prove it hahaha
PS: I've never cheated on someone, but over 70% of my girlfriends either cheated on me or were cheating on someone else with me, so my skepticism might explain why I immediately blamed the mom in my head last episode lol 😓🤣
I made a detail explanation from everything that happened up to this episode. Especially the fact, the biological father was revealed this episode after Akane mentioned the loophole. So the only logical explanation is.... Uehara isn't the father of Taiki and Aqua.... but another man.
The loophole Akane realized is that Taiki and Aqua sharing the same father still don't tell them who the father is. Taiki's mother might have had an affair, and that caused the lovers suicide.
Loophole explanation Akane edition. -Aqua assumed that his biological father is Uehara, and that Uehara cheated on Airi with Ai while they have a son name Taiki... but negelect the possibility that Airi is the one who cheated with the actual biological dad making Uehara not the biological father as we can see from this episode that is the case as the biological dad made the appearance. Loophole explanation for viewers: -Taiki just turn 20, the twins are 16 soon to be 17... very soon. Taiki parents died when he was 5, Ai mureder happened when the twins was 3 as Ai had just turned 20. Remember she gave birth to them at 16 so her birthday had to past. So it's not possible at all for Uehara to be the biological father as he died when the Twins were 2 years old. Not to mention Ai literally called the biological dad days before her murder. Minor spoiler below about the family situation, but if you’re super confused about the whole father thing this’ll clear it up Himekawa’s mother cheated on Himekawa’s ‘father’ (or at least the guy H thought was his dad) with another man (the guy at AI’s grave). The man at AI’s grave *IS* the father of both Ruby and Aqua. So, the DNA test Aqua had done on Himekawa’s was correct, they are half-siblings, but not with the man Himekawa _thought_ was his biological father. So the ‘loophole’ Akane figured out is that Aqua’s father was a bad person, and it’s possible that his step-mother had an affair with another man, and that other man could still be alive (which he is) Can’t wait to see the rest of this to be explained in the show, though unfortunately it very likely won’t come in this season. It’s pretty messed up and I’m not spoiling it, so here’s hoping we get enough seasons to make it to the full explanation.
im not understanding how you came to the conclusion that akane is reincarnated too? also to help you out, heres how it goes: aqua is under the belief that the man who died in the murder-suicide is his **biological** father, based solely on the DNA test that states he and himekawa share a father, and that himekawa tells aqua that their father was a womanizer when he was alive, then at some point died in a murder-suicide with his wife. based on those two things alone, aqua concludes that the man responsible for ai's murder is dead. but because he didnt ask follow-up questions like maybe the year he died, he's choosing the easy way out of his revenge plan. deep down, he's never actually wanted to go through with it, and wanted to be a normal person who can love or pursue goals. and since we see the biological dad at the end of the episode (its hard to think he isnt when he looks like a mature aqua, acknowledges ruby by name, and also says "our child" at ai's grave), we can conclude that he is ALSO himekawa's biological father, which means his mother was the one to have cheated in the marriage, and not her husband.

I knew that the dates didn’t match and that Aqua (and Himekawa) supposed father, (Uehara) would have been dead for like a few months, if not a year or more before AI’s murder, if Himekawa informations are correct… Now my theory is that sure, the DNA test results are accurate, Aqua and Himekawa ARE indeed brothers who share the same father BUT Himekawa thinks that her mother’s husband (Uehara) is his biological father, which he isn’t… And that’s probably because his mother was seduced by this as*hole and became pregnant… She was initially able to fool Uehara making him think that the baby (Himekawa) was his, but then, when he was 5 something happened: maybe he was hospitalized and/or needed a blood transfusion or something like that, (Could also be something that directly involves DNA , but I feel that something regarding a different blood type would be more likely) and that’s when Uehara realized that Himekawa was not his son and his wife had been cheating on him… So, in a fit of rage he killed her and then killed himself… That’s how I think things went, more or less… (I could also very much be HORRIBLY wrong) And I was right when I thought that Aqua didn’t dig enough, didn’t investigate properly, because he was subconsciously trying to find a way out, thinking something like: “Okay, they’ve just told me he’s dead, so I won’t ask any further and unnecessary questions, but just accept the fact that he’s not longer alive and take this opportunity to finally be able to live my life to the fullest like I’ve always wanted… TBF we also know that that bastard and Ai talked to the phone just a few days before AI’s death, while Aqua doesn’t… But now that I think about it actually doesn’t matter if Aqua didn’t know that those two talked to the phone… We know from episode 1 that they had “JUST TRANSFERRED” to that new apartment (I imagine at best a few weeks earlier, not before) and the stalker couldn’t possibly have gotten that information from someone (Uehara) who had died AT LEAST one year before…
