The ending went from heartwarming to hilarious in just a couple minutes. I loved seeing Momo and Okarun clinging to each other, neither of them realizing they were in the Missionary Position. They wake up laughing--until they're discovered by their classmates. Their flight was blow-soda-out-your-nose funny!

As others have put it, the arrow tattoos on Aang's body is a sign that he is an airbending master, but how he earned it is also pretty interesting. Airbenders earn the tattoos by mastering all the forms of airbending. Aang was able to master all of them except one. Instead of mastering the last technique, Aang actually made one himself. I won't say what specifically but it may come up sometime in the future.

Bright side at least, Heimerdinger isn't dead. Yordles can't die, as they're essentially spirits, so, when their corporeal form is destroyed, they reappear in their home dimension, called Bandle City, from which they can rejoin the mortal realm whenever they feel like. So, while we probably still won't see him again, since Arcane as a story is moving on to Noxus next, and Heimerdinger doesn't really go over there like some other Yordles have, he at least didn't have a bad ending.

Still one of their highest watched airings ever! Nothing, is superlative in this show. The amount of tie ins, call backs, and fore shadowing, which occurs is astounding. Every time you watch this show, you the viewer, will see more connections, more fore shadowing and nuance. This show is amazing to the 9th degree, in that way. Enjoy the journey. No filler in this show. Only episode 11, the least liked episode of the series could possibly be considered filler, but even this episode gets a call back in episode 57 (I.e. Season 3 episode 17). Episode 11 is disliked because it was the episode, after its original airing, which aired whenever, and I mean whenever, there was no new episode for a given week. Fans all excited for a new Episode tune in and groan, grumble, grumble, it is episode 11, again, and again, and again, ad infinitum!!! It was as if Nickelodeon was playing a Groundhog Day movie joke on Avatar the Last Airbender Fans. Episode 11 is fine on first viewing, or on a full rewatch of the series. It is the most stand alone episode of the series, but the fact that it was ALWAYS the episode aired, when there was no new episode for a given week, caused fans to see it as the worst episode of the series, and dislike it because of how often it was aired and used by Nickelodeon. Part of the major excitement for Episode 12, was IT was episode 12! Finally!!! Also Episode 12 is one of the best episodes of season 1, and in the top 10, for me, of the whole show. I can not express how happy and blown away by Episode 12, all the fans were, when it finally, aired originally. Some of that was Hooray!, We finally are getting a new episode, continuing the story, and part was Episode 12 itself in its own amazing way. Enjoy the ride. This show is fantastic.

Zuko is one of the best written characters I've ever seen.

Season 1 is a grind... especially the first half. The series doesn't really pick up until the second season, and really, once you watch the entire thing, go back and re-watch season 1... it's astounding just how much world-building they did, that is only really noticeable once you watch the entire series.

Wait, you stopped at ch11?? I can see why you would stop there. But 12 & 13 are literally the best chapters of the book, and top 10 in the series. YOU STOP RIGHT BEFORE REACHING THE GOLD!

This is one of those shows that just keep getting better every episode hope you enjoy!

Some of the best shows about growing up begin as sort of childish. It just shows how much we change when we grow up, & become more mature. My favorite show ever is Adventure Time, and it is much the same way- the first two seasons are pretty simple & immature, but it really just makes you let your guard down so it can hit you with one gut punch after another as the story & lore keep growing... & the characters go from being silly 2d charicatures to deep, nuanced individuals. Really amazing how they did that, nothing else has ever done it quite like Adventure Time. But Avatar did it in its own way, starting with a full story & expanding on it with the characters bit by bit. I honestly have a ton of respect for that kind of story structure, props to the writers of these children's shows for having something to say & expressing it to the audience in a way that encourages children to think about deeper themes & different perspectives. They have stuck with me more than most media has over the years

Recap episode was because they had to voice them weekly in Japan and the main VO had covid. So they "improvised" an additional episode to give him a week to rest and recover his voice.

The skill the tank ( Iron ) used was to taunt, then followed by a sword skill dagger throw along with the skill he got from killing Igris (ruler touch) at the end where he disappeared was another skill called stealth.
