Appreciate ya reacting to this, I think it is by far one of best documentaries out there for behind the scenes on making of something. It alone is better than some own entertainment such as movies or tv shows, which says a lot about how much they prioritize characters and storytelling
Keep watching the entire 5 episodes of Bridging the Rift, it's very well made and shows how difficult it was to make this show, and almost didn't get made.
In-case you didn't save it, Here's a good playlist in order I recommend Enter the Freljord - oldest cinematic Cool cinematics -A Twist of Fate (11 years old) -A New Dawn (9 years old) Music videos -Get Jinxed (10 years old) -Warriors (ft imagine dragons ) world 2014 - 9 years old -The Curse of the Sad Mummy - Amumu (9 years olds) -Pentakill: Mortal Reminder Music video Ruinnation event -The Harrowing - Tales of the Black Mist -Senna Dark Passage * -The Climb 2018 -Senna Shadows Embrace Champion Teasers -Bard: Mountain -Ekko Seconds -Warwick” The Wrath of Zaun -Xayah & Rakan: Wild Magic -(watch “THE CALL” before this one cinematic ) -* All that will ever be | Bel’Veth cinematic -Finality: Aurelion Sol champion update Skin Trailers -Project Skins Season trailers (these are considered their top-notch cinematics, they release one trailer every new season of the game typically and usually what most fans wait for each year, even non-league players watch these cinematics -Awaken 2019 -Warriors | Season2020 -The Call | Season 2022 -Still Here | Season 2024 Cool short clips -The Light within - elementalist lux -Annie: origins -Welcome Aboard - Odyssey Animated trailer -“The Path, An Ionian Myth” then “Kin of the Stained Blade” Champion re-work trailers (these are when they make trailers for champions who have been re-worked. League is an on-going game that still runs on an old engine, as of so far they haven’t decided to update the engine, but it’s a live service game. Each year they release new champions, effects, etc. Basically old champs can fall behind from graphics, gameplay, etc. so every season they will re-work a few champs and launch a trailer to tease them) -Fiddlesticks: terror in Demacia Tip for all of these, they should be in the playlist on leagues youtube page and easy to find. I omitted some that are already mentioned. I put * symbol by some because they are best watched in an order. For example, you can find the ruination event if you look up “sentinels of light” - and playlist by timfernix (ironically ruination event is not a playlist on leagues youtube page lol) Start watching all the League of Legends animated music videos: 1) Phoenix 2) Legends Never Die 3) Enemy 4) Rise 5) Breathe 6) K/DA (This is K-Pop music) Then there are the Tales of Runeterra: Noxus Demacia Freljord Bilgewater Don't Mess With The Yordles Ionia Shadow Isles Targon Piltover and Zaun Shurima Then there's the ORIGIN stories and Summoner's Rift Cinematics. Annie Darius Warwick Fiddlesticks Ekko Amumu Xayah and Rakan The Path, An Ionian Myth Kin of The Stained Blade Ryze Call of Power A New Dawn Feeding Frenzy (two newest one's are "blood, Sweat, Tears" & "Heavy is the Crown - Linkin Park Music video") I also recommend "Neacrit" he is a long time youtuber, like 9/10 years who just focuses soley on league content and lore. I recommend "Riot MMO is almost done" as it gives you a simple overview of the land of runeterra and each region.
One of the most compelling and well produced making-of documentaries probably since the LotR Appendices. It's such a pity they were denied the budget to make something similar for Season 2's production and we just got the lame overly-scripted Netflix 'Afterglow' clips.
@@MijReacts I really like to hope so too, but I believe when asked about it on Twitter recently Christian said that he didn't think there would be one since they weren't given the budget for it as 'Bridging The Riff' hadn't been deemed successful enough or something along those lines. Finger's crossed though.
Don't get me wrong, I would appreciate a second BTS, but I wonder what you would get that's not yet seen? And there is a statement regarding the budget? I think there will be added content on the Blu-ray edition. And Mako/Alex Seaver has already published YT Videos of the making-of of some songs of season 2. Btw they worked for season 2 at least from end of 2019 (the VA of Maddie told that her auditions started at the first COVID lockout). And you can see the scene of Caitlyn with her father sitting at the couch table in episode 1 of season 2 already in this docu. 😉
26:20 Not exactly something for a reaction video, but if you would like to learn more about how the way Arcane writes its women as compared to other pieces of media (cough-Disney-cough), I've found some really good digestible video essays on these topics. One of my favourites is by a channel called Schnee, they did a full series of essays dedicated to Arcane back after S1 came out. I found it really interesting to review their breakdowns and learn more on how to become better as a writer.
when a docuseries about the creation of a show is better than most series nowadays 😬
So true 😂

The animation design, art design, character design is so unique. They put so much effort into this masterpiece. 🫡
Part 2 of your reaction to Bridging the Rift? Yes, pls do!

10:02 Renni is one of the chem baron, if I remember corectly she was the one that her child killed by Jayce.
2:37 i get so exited when i see that edit, it scratches my brain in a good way
For me it's mandatory and there's no discussion about it. They NEED to make another season of this for this new season of Arcane.

Hoping that next year maybe the will make a BTS like this one cause it came out a year after too 🙏

A few million more wouldn’t have hurt them to make another documentary.
