Thanks for watching. It’s funny how there are slight variations to each country but the French one with the different AV scart out is the only one to have a different shape output at the back. USA, Germany and the UK NES, you could swap around and the cutouts would match but not the French one
Awesome video! I have no problem opening up carts to clean them, but I feel so uncomfortable opening up one of my consoles, so I have this bookmarked just in case I ever need it in the future. Thank you!
Thank you for watching. Out of all the consoles, the NES is probably one of the easier ones to take apart, especially for Nintendo. What I like is that everything is cross head screws and apart from two longe screws that hold down the cartridge port, all the rest are the same size so the screws that hold the casing together are the same as the ones holding the shielding down. Also those two longer ones are a different colour making them easy to spot
