I have a question, I only want to add 1 inch rear and 2 inch front (strut spacer) on my 2001 Toyota 4runner limited 2wd. The mechanic said my shocks are fine and I am not trying to spend $1000 plus installation for something I keep on the streets. I just want the car to sit a little higher and I can run 265/75/16 tires with no rubbing. Do you recommend steel or 6061 billet aluminum? Also, what brand would you recommend for both? Thank you for your time. Again, I am not buying new shocks and I drive the 4runner just like a car.
My truck is sagging pretty bad after an AAL 1.5 rear install. I have a camper shell in the back, should I get some sumo springs or blocks to make it leveled ?
Can I still install a leveling kit even though I have the Icon stage 1 suspension system and rear lift block even though I have an aal already ? and do i still need to get an alignment ?
I would not recommend adding those on top of the lift kit you already have installed. As far as your alignment question, anytime you make adjustments to your suspension you should get an alignment.
Did you experience any problems when installing those newer 2021 TRD Pro 4Runner wheels on the Tacoma or since? I'm so close to ordering a set, but considering AGP replicas, as many people say the newer 2021 TRD 4Runner wheels don't fit Tacoma's properly, something about the hub. Have you heard of this, or is it maybe nothing to worry about? BTW nice truck!
That lift, leveling kit, and tire/rim combo is perfect!
Did you require an alignment after the rear blocks?
Looks good 👍
Is there a need to replace the shock when adding this 1” block?? Thanks.
Your factory shocks will work fine.
Thank you!
@yotaxpedition what about 1.5,
You didnt relocate the parking brake brackets ?
We did not
Do blocks add more to axle articulation which is more than recommended amount?
Looks great what size tire your using?
These are 265/70 Yokohama Geolandars
@yotaxpedition how about rim size
Would both of this lifts work on a 2nd gen ?

The sumo springs would probably be the better route for you.
@@yotaxpedition can you please explain . I hear once I install
The sumo springs, they still won’t touch frame to frame. But with the blocks I’m set ?
Id do some air shocks

The wheels fit perfectly fine. We took them off our 2022 4Runner.
