Field Marshal Paulus's life was amazing, I wouldn't believe it if it wasn't real. Before the war, during the war and after the war. He taught at the military academy after the war and enjoyed the loyalty of the Russian government until the end of his life. As for prisoners of war, of course, when you realize the antiquity of these walls and the history of the wars that these walls saw, and Russia still remains unconquered, then thoughts involuntarily creep in about the stupidity of the war being waged against Russia at the behest of an Austrian psychopath.

Hello Mr. Gonzalez, You have got to also visit Плёс - An amazing little riverside town in Ivanovskaya Oblast. It became famous as a place for the great Russian landscape painter Isaac Levitan. It's great that you have visited Суздаль. Then there is Valaam and Solovki in the North... Suzdal is one of the most beautiful small towns in Russia.
Суздаль - это настоящее сердце духовной России. Город в котором не хочется говорить, хочется больше молчать и погружаться в себя. Город обладающий волшебной силой.
Eddie do you think that when the square was being evacuated while there it was just after the breaking news of the Sevastopol attack? This is getting more horrid by the day. Keep safe. But keep posting.
No, this was actually filmed this past Friday. There had been a military ceremony inside the Kremlin walls and they cleared the area while the military members left the Kremlin.
I can also tell you that I knew Von Paulus Chief surgeon, he was an outcast in the Nazi community in Bariloche because he declared in the Nuremberg trials against SS and Gestapo he was an old very proud man in a weelchair in the kitchen of one descendant of one of the first pioneers of Bariloche that came from Chile.
You are not Moscow photographer, you are travel reporter😊 or travel blogger😊Really cool thanks for the good video, although there are some mistakes :Volgograd was Stalingrad before,it was one of the most bloody battle.

Spiritual transformation? Research the treatment of prisoners. Imagine being raised as a fanatical Hitler Youth, experiencing the war, having your country devestated and your world destroyed. Then imagine 10 years in a camp run by the NKVD and having to live with the fact that you invaded and laid waste to most of Europe. Yeah, i'd say that might lead to a spiritual transformation. The torture, hard labor, and starvation would have helped too.
Any war is a brutal thing. There is a great movie made by Germany called "Stalingrad" (1993). You need to watch it very closely. Ask yourself, what message does this movie send to the world? And then try to watch the Russian masterpiece "Stalingrad" (2013). Is there any message in it, if any?
The spiritual transformation of POWs is undoubtedly remarkable, but are you sure it worked the way you think it should, considering the status of religion under Soviet rule? And let's look at the facts: Out of the 91,000 German soldiers taken prisoner at Stalingrad, only about 5,000-6,000 made it back home. Most of them died in captivity from diseases, starvation, and harsh conditions. Those who survived didn't start returning to Germany until the early 1950s. Still think about the spiritual transformation of POWs in the USSR? Again, these are the facts!
I appreciate your comment. My video and commentary refers only to Suzdal Camp 160 which housed high ranking officers from the 6th Army. Conditions for the men in other prisons was no doubt different. The thing about spirituality is that it transcends worldly ideas of duality.
