There was an issue with these where when you tap to change volume, there was a silent delay for a second or so before the change which was mildly annoying. There was an update today that fixed that and now the volume change is smooth and instant! Well done Soundcore!

I've tried these out last night and I love how comfortable they are. The ear tips are soooo soft and I love the fact that they don't completely block out ambient sounds so I don't feel like I'm underwater. Sound quality for the price point is fairly good compared to my redmi buds lite 3. Those are so uncomfortable and the sound quality feels like it's muffled and there's no way to use an equalizer with it. So I'm definitely buying these now. Thanks for the review! :)

I talked to soundcore customer service and they said the selected EQ preset is saved on the buds itself. And given the 22 EQ presets, there's a tuning/preset for everyone. You can also perfect it further with your phone's setting's EQ. So I would say the A20i is better than the Free2 Classic (I haven't tried the latter yet, I'm just saying theoreticals here.)?

So, on to my question: would you say that the Soundcore Liberty A40 or Google Pixel Buds Pro are worth the $40 more that they cost than the Soundcore Space A40, taking into account I am on a tight budget?
If yes, which of them would you recommend, or another option in the $100-120 range?
If not, is there another option available for less than $120 that you think is better/gives more bang for my buck?
Things to consider: I mostly listen to metal, rock and podcasts, and use them on noisy public transport.
    Thanks a lot!

I have the A20i and my sister has the P20i. From my experience with both earbuds, I find the P20i to have a slightly better sound quality. And it is much more comfortable than the A20i (not that A20i is uncomfortable-not at all!). The only downside I find the the P20i is the silicone for the earbuds are very thin and flimsy. I find that when u pull out the earbuds, the silicone flips inside out. Which can be annoying fixing back and forth everytime u pull the earbuds out. This doesn’t happen with A20i as the silicone is much more stiffer. Now idk if that’s a dealbreaker or not but for the price of both earbuds, it doesn’t bother me. Hope that helped u! 👌🏼

I bought this earbuds for $29 aud through soundcore website, I like the electronic and acoustic eq..both are the sweet spot for ear on thin earbuds, this earbuds is loud 45 to 60% is the comfortable volume anything over from that you'll have hearing problem.
Connection its solid way better than my momentum3, I leave my phone in my lounge room when I mow the front n back yard lawn with good Connection, I can't do that with my momentum3.

The missing custom EQ is not a deal breaker as I'm confident several of those presets should hit the sweet spot if I give them a try. Challenge is that my Space A40 use has increased (day and night) so that may keep them off my block.
