- Hey all! I really enjoyed the Ninjala Beta but I noticed there were a lot of things the game didn't teach you even in the in-game tutorial. I made a thread about it on Twitter but I wanted to archive it along with a few other tips I found that I didn't post. I hope you enjoy these! For all those wondering about future animations, I apologize that I haven't uploaded any in a while. I'm currently experimenting in various content fields trying to find what works best for me. I haven't stopped working with 3D tools at all, in fact I recently started learning Blender and may be using that for future thumbnails and animations! If you want to keep up with my progress on that, feel free to follow on Twitter (though fair warning I will admit my Twitter presence is all over the place!)

Only other things I can toss in myself:
-You have 2 jump actions till you either touch the ground, or stand on a wall. These jump's can be used to recover from combos (once you start spinning, you can recover out with a jump), and to animation cancel attacks for even faster combos as well (preventing people from jumping out depending on how you string them). You can also dash after each jump for greater mobility. But the thing is that you only have these 2. If you jump cancel combo someone off, but then get whacked from behind, you now don't have any jumps to get out of a combo with at all. Same if you used your jumps to chase after someone, you now have to use combos without the jump canceling.
-There is an 'Ukemi" landing if you hit jump RIGHT as you hit a wall or land on the ground, but you couldn't have pressed anything before then (this will disable your ability to do such), and you still need a jump regardless to preform it. Preforming this gives you slight invulnerability allowing you to escape, even if you didn't have S-Energy to burst.
-The canister on your back is more then just for looks. This shows off your, and your opponents, S-Energy at a glance. A yellow trail means someone has at least 4 energy, and a blue one means at least 8. The canister also gets a notable glow when someone has a super (X button) attack available, along with a notable sound cue when it's charged to full mid-combat. Using this will let you know when it's possible for someone to Burst out of a combo or not, and to expect them to try to super you if you don't finish them off or try to engage and they notice you.
-The Ninja HUD by default is only 180 degrees, making your back a total blindspot. There is a Ninja Card that makes this 360, otherwise always keep an eye on your back, and in turn approaching people from behind is the best tactic.
Otherwise this was a VERY welcomed video at last to pass towards others, pretty much going over a lot of nuances a lot of people just glossed over or didn't thick about or notice even doing a 10 hour trial period! I've been hoping someone would take a stab at this as I myself lack the skills and the like to really sit down and format a video like this towards any effect!
THERE'S A UKEMI IN THIS GAME?! You've opened my eyes friend, I'll be definitely testing that out. As for the rest of those tips, thanks for posting all these, very well welcomed! I hope others get the chance to see them. The only one I did know out of all of those was the dash action one but I didn't add it due to a lack of clips (I just used the ones I happened to record). Tip that is only my opinion don’t bully pls: the drill sword is too overpowered the x attack is a 2 shot opponent and the normal blade is great for combos

The questions in the beginning were all yes but still nice tips!
If u are running away from a fight gun morphing is super useful cause it won’t auto lock or display your name so it’s harder to spot you. Even if ur just traversing but want to be sneaky, gun morph to not alert other players

So I thought you could only counter in parries so I guess this means we should memorizes startups for each attack?
Definitely. Each weapon will have it's own attacks that work better in combos or against your enemy's attacks. I wouldn't say you need to memorize everything but at least experiment with your own weapon so you can maximize your damage.

hi! Quick question! how do you change how you move the camera?
Is anybody else having this issue? When I press my right stick, it doesn’t work. Camera movement is fine but for every game, I can use the stuff that requires pressing r stick
I can't do the different attacks in lobby training thing, are they disabled in there because they keep on being the same attack
