Who wants to go camping with Frank n Digger ? ☝️✋🤚🖐️👋👏 U guys r awesome 2gether. N the trail cam having only ducks is a good thing. Meaning no predators to harm u both. This was great. Thank u for the visit ! 👍🙏🐕🦺🐾🚣🏻❤️‼️ TJ
Thank you, Chris, glad you enjoyed it, this was one of my favourite camps and very happy with the final videos. I'm heading out again tomorrow morning for a coupe of days. I hope to get it all filmed and edited ready for Sunday night as usual 👍
Have you been to this spot before? It was a great setup. Your kitchen setup is spot on. You put a lot of thought into that build. And the wood stove with the rotisserie was just awesome. I appreciate how you take such great care of Digger and including him in everything. I can tell you two are bonded very well. He follows your lead without any trouble at all. Your videos are always a great experience with great food well prepared and great company if your best boy.
Hi, Randy, I've never been to that camp before. Glad you like the set up and are enjoying the video's. I took my time building the truck during lockdown, in between daydreaming of the adventures I'd have once we were free again! I love the rotisserie too, it makes the best flavour! Yeah, Digger is a great dog, He's been by my side since he was a pup, we are very much in tune with each other and he's a good camping companion.
I’ve been watching all of your videos. They are very inspiring. Your tents look like they are easy to setup. I have a Gazelle T4. It’s roomy and easy to setup. I don’t get to adventure as much anymore at least not for now. I look forward to more adventures soon. Until then it’s great that RUclips creators are doing a great job sharing their adventures.
Thanks, Randy, it's nice to know like minded people watch my videos when they can't get out themselves for whatever reason...that's one of the main types of viewers I'm doing this for 👍
You guys are BEST BUDS. SWEET. I enjoy watching Digger hang out with you and relax by your side. Again I have to say I LOVE THE DIFFERENT SOUNDS. The wind through the tree top, peaceful and Soothing on one’s spirit. Thank you for sharing and your doing great in filming. Good angels. Adirondack Linda. Hahahahahahah
Hi, Linda Yeah, its nice to go camping with Digger, I often see the world through his eyes, I love watching him get excited about exploring a new area...reminds me of myself as a kid! I too, like the natural sounds while camping...much better than the sounds of the suburbs!
Thanks, Jacinda I'm learning with each video and look forward to making the next one with what I learned in the previous. I'll get some great footage on my Outback trip, starting the end of this month...can't wait!
hey mate, another touchdown for the A team - great vid and sensible plan to move if the river is on the rise even if it's a few centimeters. maybe you can get some fly casting lessons and add that to your content. cheers
Cheers, Steve! yeah, I knew if I stayed I wouldn't be able to sleep with the thought of the water rising fast. The bank I was camped on was clearly underwater in the past. I had a property in Mudgee with a small creek running through it, sometimes over night it would turn into a raging torrent 10x as wide...I probably shouldn't had camped there at all (I had the keys in the car and it was facing the exist but still, it can happen very quick)
Awesome video. Love the sounds of the water and birds in background not to mention sitting in Kayak watching water So relaxing. Thanks for your effort and sharing. Sitting patting your dog ❤️❤️👏👏👏
Cheers, Patrick! being on the water was very relaxing, with just a little current, we were able to just sit back and gently float back down to camp. Digger loved it, He's so curious, looking around and sniffing the air all along the way...he has no idea how good he has it! lol
Great relaxing clip! Nice one with the kayaking along the river and it was good to see you captured some wildlife on the trail cam too. Maybe there will be a bunyip next time?
Hi, Peter, yeah it was nice just gliding down the river, Digger seemed to enjoy it, he was constantly looking around and sniffing at everything we went passed. We both enjoyed the wild blackberries...perfectly ripe. It was not the wildlife I was hoping for but its a start...I don't think I have enough batteries to wait for a Bunyip to come by! Lol
Lovely video! I like ducks so I was happy to see them. I really like the footage of floating down the river past the big rocks. Its a lot of work making videos like this, so many different angles means moving the camera and redoing things to get that shot. Go to shore, set up camera, go back out in river, go to shore again. Sometimes I just want to just hike or camp and not make a video. do you ever feel that way? I got to see a wild porcupine recently on a hike, did not get as close as you did to the echidna, but I was pretty excited since it was our first one.
Hi, Jill, Glad you liked it. It is a lot of work making these videos but I enjoy it. It does take away from the camping experience a little but I used to only go camping every few months, now I go every week! Making these videos is my new passion and I'm all in. I love being out there every week and enjoy the creative aspect of filming. I also look forward to getting home so I see what I filmed and start editing it together. Reading the positive feedback in the comments and watching the channel grow is very satisfying . I do have a camping weekend booked at the end of the month with some friends that I won't be busy filming. We'll go dirt biking all day then sit around the camp fire at night, talking and laughing over a few beers and steaks!
@@4X4CA Awesome. Sounds like fun. Have a great time. I mix it up with the filming. Sometimes I want to and sometimes I just need that hiking experience. I appreciate all you do!
Now, that is what I call Glamping...LOL. That was very relaxing to watch. 2 questions: 1 how did you secure the tent on that gravel bed? and 2 do you repack the utensils to stop them rattling? Great set up BTW.
Thanks! Lol, a few bits of kit can turn a simple camp into glamping! I didn't secure the tent to the gravel. The weight of the kit inside and my hope the wind doesn't pick up is what kept it in place. I wrap the breakables in tea towels and pack them close together...so far they have survived many miles of rough tracks.

Hi, TJ, Thank you! I was hoping to capture kangaroo's or something else 'australian' nothing against ducks 😀
I was waiting......awesome
thanks!
Really enjoyed the video! Digger is certainly calm in the kayak. Nice footage going down the river. Thanks for taking us along!

Eeek you went fishing 🎣 excellent. The videoing of the kayak trip was sharp and lovely. Good stuff Mr 👏
Oh and hey ducks are cool, are you after something specific?

I am hoping to catch some Aussie icons, like kangaroo's or Wombats etc.

Hi, Inga, That was a great place to go camping and Digger loved the water!
