Count me in! I'll be there in my Bushwhacker 12ROK Radical. It seemed to stay a secret in 2023. Braxton Creek only recently posted a pick of it on their site, and they still do not represent it correctly. I'm working on the mods as much as time will allow. Look forward to meeting you and everyone else in the list.
I'm really excited to see an ROK rad in person. I've seen lots of photos, but I haven't looked at one up close yet.

Count me in. Nervous about the heat though. How have the folks without air conditioning managed in the past?
It can definitely get hot, but a lot of people there go without the air-conditioning. I feel like I need it to sleep well, but I saw a lot of people that just use large fans. Do you have a camper or tent?
@@DIYOutdoorLife We have a tiny towable. It’s a Meerkat. We purchased a zero breeze, after seeing everyone talk about it. Tried it once, but it didn’t seem to work very well. So we kind of put it aside since it takes up a lot of room. Maybe we set it up wrong? Not sure. Will bring it and maybe someone at the meet up will help us figure out how to make it work. We would love to figure out how to put in permanent air conditioning but we are not handy and wouldn’t even know who to ask. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I love that meerkat! I've seen a bunch of videos, but never one in person, exciting.
I have used the zero breeze a lot, I should be able to help. We did a review video on it, not sure it'll be a lot of help but worth a shot.
Thanks! Yes I saw your video. And perhaps you can take a look at our set up and give your opinion when you do your walk through of our Meerkat. She tends to attract attention wherever we go. Some because when people see my 6ft 4 inch husband step out of it, they are confused. Only had our Meerkat for a year but took her from NJ to Utah (7350 miles) last Spring over 50 days. So we can say we love tiny towable traveling!

Although the campsite has many large sites, everyone seems to be conveniently located. I would book any available site and not worry about location. The river side is very nice!

I have not seen that much either, it's a pretty nice perk. It's definitely a higher end place, with a hot spring spa attached to the campground, doubling up can make it inexpensive too. Hope to see you there!

I need some help. Anyone from the community here can offer theirs. If I wanted to buy a 400 watt (foldable) solar panel, what type of charge controller would I need to get. Also consider that ilk be running AC/Furnace half days sometimes. With a TV, laptop and charging 2 phones at the same time on occasion. Thanks in advance.
A 30 amp charge, controller, preferably an MPPT would work for your solar.
The bigger question is what battery you're using and if you have an inverter to run AC appliances. That amount of solar will definitely keep you charged for the furnace, TV, phones, etc.
If you're trying to run your air conditioner, you're talking about a very large battery and inverter combo ... it's gonna be a major step to be able to run the air conditioner
I'd love to do this the cheapest way possible. I have 2 100ah lead acid batteries.
I seen in a previous video of yours that MPPT controllers are pretty pricey across the board. I'd like to avoid getting into the expensive setup if at all possible.

Although I'm not positive, I think the sites with Electric are harder to split. The disperse sites are a lot larger than the ones with pedestals, I'll ask the coordinator.

Hello, Bryan. I just discovered your channel and this group. I would really like to attend this event, but I don't know how to register and don't see any email for the "other Bryan" to contact him. I could certainly share a site if someone was willing. i have a 14 ft vintage Mity Lite Spacemaster camper
(it's kind of like a teardrop that pops up) and will be traveling with my 27 pound Bernedoodle. Is it possible to still get in to meet up and make some new friends at this awesome event?

@@DIYOutdoorLife there isn't any way to contact anyone from the group. I called the campground today and was able to get a primitive site for a few days during the meetup, so I'll be coming. It's not near the rest of the group. I don't know how to pay the event fee so that I can be included in the activities and participate. Can someone please contact me at mil52gml@gmail.com?

@DIYOutdoorLife I would need 30 Amp hookup at the very least. I called the Resort & the only thing they have for me is Wednesday and Thursday and then I would have to check out Friday morning. There's another opening on Saturday but nothing for Friday. So I could come the first couple of days, but then would miss the rest.

@DIYOutdoorLife I don't think so. It says to use 30 Amp. Like a regular trailer. I have a Riverside Retro 511 Elite. It has a full AC and refrigerator with microwave.

Don't worry about the eventbrite. Just book your spot at the campground and will take care of it when we get there. If you have a spot booked at Hot Springs, I'll mark you down as going.
