If you from UK and Australia are minding your own Royal Family in UK, we Danes are minding our Royal Family including King Frederik 10 and Queen Mary! Just because your King is married to the woman he cheated with, while married to late Princess Diana, it certainly not means, that our King Frederik 10 would or will do the same. People in the UK are not commenting on King Frederick or Queen Mary, given that they know nothing about them or the monarchy. I spend roughly six weeks a year in Denmark. My son lives in Osterbro, Copenhagen. I love the country and I like the people and the monarchy. People haven’t forgotten King Charles’ behaviour towards Princess Diana, a lot of them don’t think he deserves to be King. However, he and Queen Camilla have overcome obstacles, put their own stamp on their monarchy and ill-health apart, they are doing a good job. Queen Camilla is accepted by many people and not accepted by many others. Prince William ensured he didnt go down a similar route. Prince Harry has done what’s right for him, albeit it’s made him unpopular. He finds the past very painful. Hopefully sharing his feelings and views will help him find peace.

Honestly, sometimes I feel that many of these so called blue blooded princes are anything but princely and noble.Whereas when they marry ladies who are not born princesses but have solid, good middle class values, it’s usually the latter who make all the effort to make the marriage work and bring up their children so well. The men just don’t appreciate the goodness of the women they married and continue with their philandering ways.
