@@mototop_ your vidoes have changed my perspective of 600 cc sport bikes. Let's just say now I have a more realistic understanding of the performance of these machines. It would be interesting to see how a cbr650r would compare to a 600 cc bike? I know 650 is slower but question is how slow?
@@th3matchless I dunno something seems odd with these numbers. I dont believe Moto Top's performance is at fault. But if on this channel a z900rs can do a 10.3s quarter mile i seriously doubt a zx6r is a second slower. If anything it should be considerably faster. I think the gps tracking unit might not be accurate enough. Nothing beats a real dragstrip. In response to your query about the cbr650r i can honestly say having tested both that i do not believe it to be even in the same speed category. 636 seems to pull even harder from downlow which is bizarre considering engine size. Of course at top end it is a no match. Lets just say it is 12 kg heavier and 35 hp down and it feels it.
MotoTop honestly I don’t care much about top speed, 250 kmh is enough for me, not that I am afraid but like you said you rarely go faster than 250. What I do care is power in low and mid rews it is more useful at least for my style of riding.

why?
@@mototop_ I meant the whole video was great and at no point it made me feel to skip a few seconds ahead.
I thought it made a good compliment 😅😅
@@Orange_390 oh, thanks bro :) I hope I can get new bikes in spring for testing. now it's winter in Germany :.(
@@mototop_ well someone said best thing comes to those who wait. And not related to this, but I can ride all year round 😁.
Anyways ride safe 💙
Thank you bro ❤
You're welcome 😊
So what’s the times in mph thanks great riding buddy
thanks :) sorry, metric rules the world :D what times do you like to know? 0-60mph? 0-100mph?
MotoTop yes please 🙂🏴🏴 hahaha wana compare it to my Honda VTR firestorm
@@clemfandango7175 ok, I hope I don't forget till weekend :D
very good... great ride
thanks :) but revs in 1st gear at start could have been a little bit higher :D
@@mototop_ it's an excellent bike. Too bad here in Brazil, medium and high-capacity motorcycles are very expensive. zx6r = $ 10500 / R$ 53000 Reais
just wondering is the top speed electronically limited?
it is. the new ZX-6R has a very short gearing. In 6th gear the revs are limited, because it would always run into rev-limiter
Roads are beautiful
it's German Autobahn :)
i hope i could have this kawasaki
I hope your wish comes true ;)
I would like to know about this nice gps how can i get it how you all do it?nice video
you activate GPS at your Gopro, and afterwards you can add the data with the gopro QUICK APP to the video
@@mototop_ thank you very much and what go pro i need? Hero black 5?
@@busamakismakisbusa7138 right, at least 5 black. I recommend the 7 black
@@mototop_ thank you very much !!!
@@busamakismakisbusa7138 you're welcome
2017 my r6 stock did 270km and it helps with traction off
the new ZX-6R has a very short transmission and therefore the revs are limited in 6th gear, because it wold always run into rev limiter at topspeed.
Wow is this bike restricted. After an exhaust and ecu, it will give a bit more.
it's because it has a very short transmission.
The 2008 zx6r stock tops out at around 273 kph
the new ZX-6R is different, it has a very sort gear ratio
You recon it could do a quarter mile in high 10's?
could be possible with better shifting from my side :) Also the start in 1st gear could have been a little bit better with higher revs.
@@mototop_ Stock zx6r has already gotten 10.7
I think this 11.2 time is very conservative. Probably a good time will be 10.5
@@Stratocasterhead51 thanks for that
@@mototop_ your vidoes have changed my perspective of 600 cc sport bikes.
Only 255 on speedometer?!! I had 2007 Honda CBR 600RR and I did 287 on speedometer. How much would it be on gps I honestly don’t know. I never checked
the ne ZX-6R has a very short transmission and revs are limited in 6th gear because it would run easyly into rev limiter.
Interesting. I’m wondering why kawasaki decided to do this
@@garra7472 because most of the time you don't ride on Autobahn. You ride more on normal roads.
MotoTop honestly I don’t care much about top speed, 250 kmh is enough for me, not that I am afraid but like you said you rarely go faster than 250. What I do care is power in low and mid rews it is more useful at least for my style of riding.
@@garra7472 in this case the new ZX-6R is perfect :)
I love ur stuff . Keep do it on others bike
thanks :) I'll try. It's not so easy to get bikes for testing
Had a 02 zx6 and seen 260km out of it.. How come the 2020 is slower? I'm confused
because the new ZX-6R has a very short transmission. It could go way faster with longer transmission
I wonder why you only managed 255 kph, on my 2020 model i can do 269. Front facing wind?
you also have a ZX-6R from 2020? maybe you have different sprocket?
@@mototop_ all stock and i hit it almost every time i try, not just once downhill.
@@marcelrides3640 where are you from? maybe your bike has a different specification than european (german) version
From germany aswell
@@marcelrides3640 interessant.... :D
