I bought a Eufy 11S 3 years ago. I had to replace the battery once for $20 but it works like champ. Recently on Eufy Ebay store I picked up a refurbished eufy G32 Pro for $65. It looks identical to the 11S but it does have wifi and the phone app. They said refurbished but it looked brand new. So, now I have one for each floor of the house.

I tried a Shark with lidar from Costco and their navigation seemed absolutely terrible. After entering a relatively difficult area (like dining room chairs) it would get in a loop doing the same paths over and over, unable to exit using the path it entered on. And eventually it starts ignoring the bump sensor to shove furniture and create a way out.
And that's a model *with* lidar, do you'd think it could see obstacles and measure clearance. I don't know how they screwed up nav so badly.
And don't get me started with their "barely checking the boxes" app!

Both my robovacs have issue's with bright sunlight being cast onto the floor through the doors and windows. They often get themselves stuck when the sun suddenly pop's out from behind a cloud when they are in certain positions in a given room as the if the drop sensors are being triggered. I know first world problems but i just wondered if this is something that affects all brands/models? I have an ecovacs n79s and a eufy g30 verge. Great video's btw:)

    Hi,
can you please add robot vacuum dimensions in tests as well.
Width, height and height including protrusions such as LIDAR sensor.
It would be much appreciated since those specs are also quite useful, especially because many vacuums are getting quite big and many are hiding such information.
I am following you for last 5 years (starting with first roomba comparison) and I hope this would be yet another simple but worth improvement.

Hey, I wanted to give you a video idea, and I think many would also want this:
    - Make a video where you create your so called best robot vacuum by combining different functions and design choices.
If anyone has a design choice, write it, I‘m genuinely interested.
    Meanwhile here is mine:
    - Robot design like the Roomba S9 (since its D-shaped, and very high power and performance numbers)
    - AI Camera from the Roomba J7 (because of its lights)
    - Navigation, tbh this doesn’t really matter to me, since I have had both Lidar and Vslam, both systems work, you don’t notice a difference.
    - Mop raising function from the Roomba J7 (its better than lifting off a couple of millimeters from the floor)
    - A base like the base from the Roborock S8 Ultra (because it’s and open design with heavy and sturdy looking water containers)
I think this sums it up, I would be content with a Roborock with more power and a D-shape, I hate the round robots.
Reason being -> they don’t clean the entire carpet, if the carpet is pushed against a wall…
Anyway, if you‘ve read all of this, well then have a good day :D
