Pressure Washing Driveway (is pre-treat necessary)

Today I tried applying a pre-treatment to this concrete driveway before washing it. half of the driveway got a 1.87% SH mixture while the other half was left dry until cleaning. Both sides got the same 3.5% post treatment.
