It's a good time to piece it back together just enough to make a mold of it. You know the hull works great so what better time to cast the mold and make a 2.0 fiberglass and carbon hull. Keep up the good work bro 💪

I hurt for Big B, that certainly was my favorite boat of yours. All I can say is let’s look forward to the next great build or re-build, life is short the list of rc boats is long, if anybody can make a great comeback it’s you 👍
I do believe OSE has 24” fiberglass hydros in stock 😁 of course they don’t compare in looks of that drag boat. BGFL

Bummer dude. We really loved the dragboat. I'll bet you can rebuild her. Maybe use it for a plug to mold a glass one? I'm surprised no one in the industry has produced a dragboat, as cool looking and bad ass as they are.🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Im Gonna try, pulling a mold is a lot of work but it might be worth it

Dude, time to build with plywood. I ran into the shore with my round nose tiny titan at full speed (more than 20mph) on my maiden run. It only broke the ply 1 to 2" back and pop the front open. I must have hit a sapling tree the way it was rounded. Rebuild using 1/8" frame with 1/32" sheeting. I get it water gets hard at certain speed but that should have never come apart from a tumble like that.
Ugh sorry about your boat! But you'll fix it up extra iron clad style!!

Rc boats have more in common with RC planes than i thought. All the time building and tuning, just to explode in a dramatic crash.
Wow Bummer Big B. My DJI FPV Drone lost telemetry and fell 500+ ft from the air crashed landed in a parking lot !!!
Luckily it didn't hurt anyone or landed on a car or a flat Roof.

Man that really sucks. We know you will fix it. Soon as I bought GNSS I almost hit a duck with my UL-19 modded, I quit driving a fun oval and the impulse to go fast nearly ruined my day. Same with RC cars. I prefer a track vs speed.

@@IRONCLADRC Not that Randy Naylor one is it? It was a bit rough. You may be better served with the Bandit S Bulletproof (a.k.a. IRONCLADDED OUT) as it has a better chance of surviving what you dish out on a regular basis. The transom on the Bandit lends itself to twin drives a bit easier as well.
I've been wanting that pathfinder for years, the 2860's should be perfect for Ovals. Ive been looking at the bandit too but that boat deserves more than 2860's.

hi ironclad i want to upgrade from 3s to 4s i have a 30a esc with bec D2842 Out-Runner Brushless Motor 2 blade plastic nylon propeller do i need to upgrade its in a f1 tunnel hull.
Your next option is a 40a or 60a speed control, you may gain some speed with a larger esc & cooler Temps. Ztw has a v2 shark that's an affordable option

Had my torquetube and motormount explode on me last year in march, was about 10C outside, water damn mutch colder when i got the first bath of the year for the boat :P
I was sure it was about to sink, and it was close as it almost tore hole in the bottom of the boat, but i saved it that time.
Was out with a pal running a traxxas, when he borrowed one of my 42mm props, ended up flipping that boat, loosing 2 batteries and splitting the hull in half.. 2 brand new batteries aswell.. i felt so bad for borrowing him that prop after.. but it did run good, for the time he had.

Its to good to scrap! If it helps I did a big B today on my rigger..slammed it head on into a metal pole. Only smashed the nose of the tub, sponsons ok. It will be fixed! BG4L!

Driver error, cant run a drag boat thru the rollers like that. You learned the hard way.
took me 3 months to build this boat 100% from scratch, no plans, custom built. Less than 3 seconds to totally destroy it

The new raider 40, that's a sweet ride brother. Don't feel to bad I've had a few motor mounts break loose. I've been basically building my mounts into the hull here lately lol. Probably over doing it.
Man, I hate to see this. After I built my 1st wooden hull boat, I wished I would've inlayed entire inside with carbon fiber. I wanted to mention that during your build.
I contemplated it, but I was trying to keep her as lightweight as possible. The next one will be inlayed, that's for dang sure.

WTF it takes a big B to laugh that one off, lets get it fixed up and moulded bro,so we can all share the love, if its to much for you send it over to me , as all my hulls get moulded once ive got the bugs out, as the wood soaks up water and will weaken the hull over time anyway. Im still running one of my grp hulls from the 96 word champs . NO idle threat big B a promise bro, just fix it up and send it, Regards PJB
I'll keep that in mind.. I'm actually working on the hull as we speak it was a clean break and can definitely be reassembled.
@@IRONCLADRC well you know the way we run this side of the pond , the water almost always is rough, so we run rear ride pads or rear sponsons to help cut through the chop , it helps to reduce unwanted lift in bad weather, and that tends to lead to a heavier hull than you guys build , on the other hand the boat lasts a life time. Yes, defenitly shit happens, mostly for us, who wants more and more speeds. I lost 2 boats and crack 3 sonicwake hulls and 1 blackjack 42 hull.🫤
I'm on my second bj 42 hull gotta get another sw hull & hatch. Probably end up getting a rtr sonicwake & start from scratch
My PB is 88mph with sonicwake 8s stock motor and also 88mph with BJ42 xlx2 and TP4050 1650kv. For now. My goul is 90mph with sonicwake and 100mph with BJ42 I hope sou. Will trying. Big B you are the best, I watch all your videos every day.👍
