What to know which Monster Ultras are the best?
When it comes to all of the Monster Ultra energy drinks, I got all of them except the black. But thats close enough right? I hope so because trying 9 out of the 10 was the best I was able to do after going to lots and lots of stores for all these energy drinks. So, I start off with a little introduction for the Monster Ultras and then jump into the tasting and ranking of all the Monster Ultras.

Yup Yup! I even said it in my review of the Watermelon Ultra when I did it individually. Good stuff. A lot of competition this year though!

the purple one is great! haha. Some of these taste really good in a couple sips, but then become really hard to finish a whole can. I really liked the green one but wound up having a hard time finishing it because it is extremely sweet tasting compared to the others I think. Got sick of it quickly.
The green is a little too acidic for me, as well as the purple. Finishing it is difficult.

if you like grape energy drinks I recommend NOs grape flavor it’s got that strong grape flavor with that caffeine feel to it, it’s good!
Im not a fan of grape but there are definitely lots of good ones out there!

Great taste, no sugar and relatively cheap, especially if they are on sale, which is often!
the Ultra Violet I think tastes like Grape Pixie Dust mixed with Zero Ultra
for me, I think the paradise is like a Kiwi cucumber. It has that sweet tartness of a kiwi.

Old video, but as a diabetic I really appreciate Monster putting out so many zero sugar flavors. All the Ultra flavors are zero sugar. I actually think Ultra Violet is one of my favorites because there aren’t almost any other low carb grape drinks out there easily available
Sugar free drinks are becoming far more common nowadays with so many people concerned about their health, so many low carb diets, keto diets and just people being more aware of sugar in general. When I saw the title, I knew this was another CM must-watch! My Monster hierarchy is Paradise, followed by a tie between Sunshine and Watermelon. Interesting take on the flavor profile for Paradise CM, I did not discern cucumber but tasted Kiwi and Passion Fruit. I agree on your assessment of the Ultra Zero.....it too was my least favorite. Seeing your rankings I have to try Fiesta again. Do a ranking of the Optimum drinks CM, they have so many delicious flavors!
Well, I'll admit, my take on the Paradise wasnt that great of one because I couldnt really pinpoint many of the flavors. That being said, I felt the same way about the red, blue and violet. I hate not being able to give accurate flavors but I blame it on Monster. LOL! I did review all the Optimums and put them on the CaffeineMan rating chart, but I guess thats a little different. i'll have to add it to the list. now that Ive done ranking for 2 drinks, theres a LOT of other companies that can be ranked.

Caffeine man i wish you could see the cans i have accumulated over 2020 . No joke i recycle my energy drink cans . I have 8 ,, 50 gallon garbage bags of nothing but 12 oz red bull. And 2 30 gallon of assorted E.D 's . I drink for effect . Taste is important but if its not my number 1 critera , im down for it , if its high performance but taste bad or ok . Im glad i found you,, you have turned me on to new drinks , ive never heard of . Tyvm CM

If Im being honest here, I plan my videos out 2 to 3 weeks in advance and when you made the request, the video was already recorded edited and waiting to be uploaded. LOL! Ultra gold is definitely a top 3 once you try it. Kinda just tastes like the original monster with a nice touch/hint of pineapple. Might even be my #1

White (Ultra) has been like crack to me for the past 6-8 years. It is my favourite... beverage period. Not just Monster. After that I enjoy the blue one. Red, Orange, Black, Violet I am all impartial too. The green one probably ranks third in my humble opinion.

You hit the nail on the head about fitness culture too. I enjoy an ultra especially before training! Does it have everything I need, no. However, just throw a couple ingredient in it and it’s the best tasting pre-workout out there! Love you content. Keep up the great work.

The Ultra Fiesta has been my go-to lately and I’m normally not a mango guy. It is very good.
Well, its not a straight up mango, so maybe thats it. Its got a mix of some other tropicals in there too.

Hi! So I know this video was a while back, but I just tried the ultra paradise and was curious what you thought about it so I found this video lol. My work just put it in the vending machine recently.
I’ve been trying to stick to zero sugar or sugar free stuff. So far I think it’s going well! But I noticed I just sometimes don’t like how certain sodas taste (so far my favorite is diet Rootbeer or diet Dr Pepper). I noticed that sometimes I would still have a craving for more and I rather just stick to one per day. I’ve been drinking more sparkling waters too.
Today I saw the ultra paradise and I haven tried monster in so long. I remember not liking the original Monster when I did try it. I was exhausted today so I was like “you know what? Fine let’s try it”. I’m one of those who thought it was green apple tbh xD
But I thought it was freshing too. Also made me feel better. I wouldn’t drink one everyday of course, moderation, but I’m surprised how I enjoyed it. :)

Yeah, it became so popular that they wanted more people to know it was a mango flavor so they recently changed the name to Ultra Mango Fiesta. Probably one of their top selling drinks!

Thanks so much! Im considering it, they are pretty fun. Very difficult to do Bang though since there are over 20 to drink. I did do a tier list of all the Bangs though so you may be interested in that. When you have so many to go over, a tier list is usually a better option.

I don't remember Ultra Black being very special but Ultra Citron was my favorite (yellow/lemon). It was supposedly discontinued 2 years ago although I think there are still some out there. Definitely worth a try if you can find them! Thanks for the vids!

So unfortunate that you couldnt find Ultra Black. It is my favorite Ultra alongside fiesta. Quick question: I was thinking of ordering some energy drinks from USA but i got confused by you mentioning some kind of laws? Is it possible to then to order energy drinks from USA to Europe?
Most likely not. From what I have heard, people have difficulties getting certain drinks from the major websites and most companies arent allowed to ship internationally. I believe the restrictions in Europe range from 180mgs to 200mgs on caffeine, depending on country, so Amazon and other websites may recognize where you are and not allow sales of products that high. That being said, don't take my word for it. You can definitely try and buy some and see what happens. It might go through. There may even be some third party websites that go around the rules.

Now like you, I’m not the biggest fan of Monster Products CM. But Ultra Rosa is SOOO good... Incredibly complex but so fruity and almost floral in a way.
They do actually have something in there to give it a floral feel. I believe it might be passionfruit.

The fiesta monster reminds me of one of the fruitopia flavors back in the mid 90's.
Oh wow, theres a blast from the past! Yeah, they discontinued that in the early 2000's...in the US at least. I heard it was still available in other countries.
Great Breakdown with ur list. How u feel about the grape flavor monster is how I feel about Berry flavors. HOWEVER I found Ultra Black 2weeks ago and I'm already addicted to them 8 or 9cans in so far.ulta black monster has a slight sour cherry taste but surprisingly No aspartame nor chalky aftertaste. Therefore if u like cherry flavor then u will enjoy it .

It's not in high demand as the flavors I hear that it's more of a summertime flavor that is only in select areas throughout the year. CHERRY is such a conventional flavor that is almost over used that some people need a break from it .lol

I think Ultra Red taste like Cranberry
I humbly respect your thoughts on what you think Ultra Red tastes like. In my own personal opinion, I must disagree as to what I think it tastes like and the only validity I have to go on is because I hate cranberry. I did a video on Epuri, which has a cranberry flavor and even included my face when I drank it in my end of year compilation. I made similar faces when I drank the Red Bull cranberry (now discontinued thank goodness). So, to me, it doesnt taste anything like cranberry. I would drink an Ultra Red before I drank anything with the word cranberry in it. 😂😂😂
Do you recommend a certain age to drink monsters?
I drink them but I try not to drink them too much because I'm not like some of my friends ->-
When it comes to caffeine in general, the Mayo CLinic (and many other medical websites) say that children between 13-17 shouldnt have anymore than 100-150mgs a day. Then when you turn 18, you can magicallly have 400mgs.

Yeah, you can't go wrong honestly. Sugar free, just the right amount of caffeine, great flavors and usually at a good price.
My favourite to least favourite Monster Ultras IMO, rated by flavour and refreshment combined.
1. Ultra Paradise (myb slightly less better flavour then Rosa but more refreshing.)

None of the mainstream stores near me carry, but there is this little convenience store the next town over that sometimes has it. I bought one and its in my fridge waiting to be reviewed!!!

Thanks! Im trying to fit them in where I can, so hopefully I can get to another one before the next few months. All depends on how busy all the new energy drinks will keep me. Bang and Monster have some aggressive plans and so do many of the other companies trying to stay competitive.
I think red is like a cranberry flavor,and green is like a strawberry kiwi
Nice video. I'm a big fan of the Monster Ultra line. I really liked Ultra Black. I haven't had it in at least a year (maybe 2) because I can't find it anywhere! I haven't had the Watermelon yet. I may have to give it a try!
Sometimes the older flavors can be hard to find. I expect the Watermelon to be showing up everywhere soon enough.

And I noticed that you didn't have the original Ultra Zero Monster the black can with the faded blue M I used to like that one too

Yeah I don’t know why Ultra Black is nowhere to be seen. They didn’t discontinue it, but it’s just never at stores. Always wanted to try it.

Im fairly confident, at some point or another, I have had the chance to purchase it, but just never had. I was never a fan of Ultra after trying the red, white, blue, and purple....and usually its 3 strikes and you're out, but that was 4 chances. Im not going to keep buying stuff I dont like, so I never bought any of the other flavors after that.... until I started my channel...and now I cant find it.

Do you know were I can get ultra blue monsters now ? I can't find them at any store around me they used to be my favorite energy drink not sure now though I really like the new ghost energy drinks like sour warhead watermelon
Ive still seen them in stores. It might be a regional thing if you cant find them. They may not have been selling that well in your area so they replaced it with something else. I know they still have them in the variety pack as well, their red white and blue box, so I know its not discontinued.
Missed out on all these uploads after taking a break from the internet as a whole. Ultra Fiesta just came out in Canada! So I finally got to try it and I gotta say it’s my favorite Monster product. Alongside Ultra Fiesta we got the Farmers Oat Java as well and it’s not bad, definitely a subtle oat flavor, kinda like what you said about taking a bite of oatmeal and washing it down with coffee. As for Ultra Black, as of right now, it’s release status is kind of a mystery. Nobody really knows whether it’s discontinued or not but I did see some at a small convenience store near my place a month ago. But it had the old ultra packaging with the more scratchy and gothic letters where it says “Zero Sugar, Taurine, Ginseng” as opposed to the newer cleaner font with squared out letters. It may be discontinued which wouldn’t surprise me as some people find it tastes like eggs of all things. I’m not really a fan of ultra black, not the best black cherry on the market

It's very very true! Trust me, I know it! And I try not to do it because it is definitely annoying. Therefore if something is potentially semi-clickbait-y, I don't mind too too much because I know its not as blatant as other people and I rarely do it.

Why do they paint the lids in the US? Here in the UK they are just silver from the can. My fav is the red 1
To ship the drinks outside of the US costs a little more money so to save on the shipping costs, they use less paint on the lids. It may not seem like a lot, but even if it saves them 2 pennies...2 pennies times hundreds of thousands of drinks add up.

There are no facts behind that comment. The truth is, I have absolutely no idea why they are painted or not painted. But, I really, really, like my evaluation of it. Very beleiveable.

Ultra Paradise is my favourite and it’s very refreshing. It’s says it’s kiwi, lime and cucumber and I can taste kiwi and cucumber not sure if the lime. Obviously there’s a ultra gold pineapple flavour that’s my worst. Sadly they’re not selling ultra red, ultra blue, ultra sunrise and ultra violet. They’re not on the monster website and I never see the Rosa to try. Notice they got rid of ice tea category and others.
I still see the Rehab Teas in stores, as well as the Rosa.... Im a little shocked that I am finding it hard to find the Mango Fiesta in some stores.
@@CaffeineMan1 Maybe your in USA buy mango fiesta is almost in all my supermarkets/shops and I’m in the UK. Maybe they may not produce them or at least in certain countries some flavours.

I am actually baffled that the drink looking like the colours.
Its how most energy drinks started. It was only about 5-6 years ago that companies started removing the colors, mostly due to preworkout energy drinks becoming so popular.
