Its crazy how every ones taste preferences are so different, but we both agree on your#1. After trying almost all the major brands flavors, still my fav. I save Mango matic for special events/days.I dont want to ever get bored with it!!!!

Some of the originals like Carnival Candy and Sour Apple have been difficult to find. As they release more new drinks, other ones have to come off the shelf, so if they dont sell well in your area, they go bye bye.

Its interesting how it works and it must be what sells best in some place and not others. Every place has Carnival Candy near me, but it was super hard finding the Strawberry Sublime.
@The Audience Cut As their line grows, they'll probably have to start trimming down some flavors as new ones are released. Monster can have some pretty tight restrictions based on what drinks survive due to high or low sales performance. Tons of Monsters have come and gone....Im surprised no Reigns have been discontinued yet. They must all be selling well. 😂
@CasualDude Seems possible. Its inevitable that it will happen and those are 2 from the original line. I usually don't say anything until I know. I still need to argue with people who try to say Bang Root Beer was discontinued months ago. Really? Because you can still buy it on their website! LOL!
My grandpa gave this Energy Drink and I was wondering if this is another Energy Drink company and it sure is. It has a clear finish in the liquid similar to BANG Energy and so far, the flavors I’ve tried out are the Mango, White Gummy Bear, and Orange Popsicle. I’ve seen these drinks at a nearby supermarket, and maybe one day I can try out the rest of these flavors.
I love these types of videos. This one is my favorite of this type so far, though I was starting to get a bit concerned toward the end with the retasting. My list is way off from yours, but I know our flavor preferences are very different. I haven't had several of the flavors in quite a while, but based on memory and my opinions at the time, I'd probably go (from best to worst): Lemon HDZ, White Gummy Bear, Mang-O-Matic, Razzle Berry, Lilikoi Lychee, Peach Fizz, Sour Apple, Cherry Limeade, Orange Dreamsicle, Strawberry Sublime, Melon Mania, Carnival Candy.

One of your best videos CM!! Your favorites are so similar to mine, as Mang-o-Matic and Lilikoi Lychee were my top two flavors (have not tried the Sour Apple yet, but will have to find it now). It certainly looked difficult to restrain yourself from drinking too much, but you obviously have a high caffeine tolerance. I noticed you drop a New England accent at the 11:12 - 11:14 mark (I'm a native New Englander too, Connecticut born)!

lol i got in my stores 250ml reign(razzle berry, peach fizz and melon mania) price is like two times higher than 0.5L ones(they like vanished into thin air lol) but still glad to see i can buy them lol
Hope all is well Caffeine Man, Nova Scotia Canada is slowly getting better for Reign. Our Reign has 180mg of Caffeine which I wish was 200mg but still better than 300mg. We are still hurting on flavour options but now have the heavy hitters: Lychee, Dreamsicle, Razzle, Sour Apple, Melon and Lemon HDZ. Things are getting better and Coca-Cola is slowly getting better at pushing these flavours out. I would put Lemon HDZ in last personally 😆

Bang and reign have been a staple in my life the last years. I typically go for bang more but I feel reign has way smoother taste. Sour apple has got to be my favorite from reign but it’s so hard to chose.

Meh… it’s just a generic third party private label company. I tend to stay away from those because they’re pretty generic. I prefer real energy drink companies.

Wow they're like about $3 at the convenience store but of course the convenience stores are always more expensive, but I have a I get reward discounts loyalty reward , so I'll buy a whole bunch of it and then I put in my ID number and it knocks off about a dollar on each one

Agreed! They need to get on that. I heard die to corona there have been can shortages and other problems so hopefully they clear that up. Monster themselves have been getting drinks slightly quicker in the UK based on what Ive heard and that was one of their goals in their 2020 annual report.

There are several different articifical sweetener options, but most energy drinks tend to use Sucralose and Ace K (Acesulfame Potassium). Sucralose is 700 times sweeter than sugar and is also considered the main ingredient in Splenda. Thanks for the shout-out! Appreciate it!
I freaking love reign. Tried bang but it doesnt do anything to ME. I primarily use it as a workout drink and it definitely works, and not to mention that their flavors are great !
Yeah its maybe the best lineup out there. The only drinks close on taste are probably Ashoc and 3D. After having alot of Reign, Bang tastes watered down and chemically.
moving to US in a couple years, and then I can finally try out all of these flavors. I currently live in Sweden, and there are only like 4 flavors here which is kinda sad

reign has my favorite blue raspberry flavor out of all the different energy drink companies out there to make a blu raz flavor, i remember having the bang blue raz and it was actually awful imo it had a weird chemical taste almost like paint, reign's blue raz is definitely far far cleaner tasting and it has a genuinely pleasant sweetness that is just right, its not too syrupy and not too mild its got a perfect balance on the sweetness to make it candy-like
Reign came out of the gates strong when they were released. They looked at what Bang was doing and tweaked everything to try and make it just a little bit better. The debate always continues in my comments as to which is better, Bang or Reign. Looks like you are team Reign!
@@CaffeineMan1 yes lol even tho there are a few flavors of bang that i like flavor wise, im definitely a reign stan thru and thru, im also a huge fan of ghost because they are doing some kind of sweetener sorcery to get such refreshing and sweet flavors XD that is something that i look for myself when testing different energy drink flavors is i think to myself "does this flavor have any bad chemically aftertaste or is it overall clean and pleasant?" I think that is a good fundamental question to ask oneself whenever comparing and rating energy drinks
we just got the peach fizz here now to and its like my 2nd best or 3rd from reign then orange ice--- is my nr 1. i hate green apple so .... bottom. and think the lemon is amazing.

Lilikoi lychee is my #1 energy drink flavor of all time, it might be because I absolutely adore both passion fruits and lychees, but man did they do a bang up job on that flavor.
That Lilikoi! SO unique and delicious! Moved right up my list!!! When you get to the top 4 or 5 drinks, it so hard to choose since they're all so good!
Great list! Lemon Headz, Razzleberry, Sour Apple and Cherry Limeade are my top favorites. Mango Matic and Orange Dreamsicle on the bottom. I'm not a big orange fan but i'am a big mango fan but Mango Matic is not very good. All the ones in between are really good as well! I actually really enjoy Strawberry Sublime

When I first tried these a long time ago there were certain flavors I did not like as much but as time has gone by I have tried some of them again and those ones I did not like as much I have started to like more so now. Your rating of these drinks is not bad but my list would be just a little different. 1. Sour apple 2. Melon Mania 3. Lilikoi Lychee 4. Peach Fizz 5. Mang-O-Matic 6. Lemon HDZ 7. Razzelberry 8. Cherry limeade 9. White Gummy Bear 10. Orange Dreamsicle 11. Strawberry Sublime 12. Carnival Candy. Since you had all of these drinks it would have been nice if you could have done another video of you mixing all of these flavors together like you have done with some of the brand drinks. @@CaffeineMan1 Unfortunately, the 3D Gold wasn't there. They had a bunch of the Liberty Pop on the top two shelves, obviously for cashing in on the upcoming holiday. Beneath them was the red (punch), blue (berry), green (citrus), and white (frost). Hopefully more flavors will show up later, or perhaps your Target will carry different flavors. As for my Reign list, I really wanted to like the Sour Apple, but the flavor was overdone, way too strong, in my opinion. And, mango flavors always get last place because I really don't like the taste of mango. I don't like the fruit, don't like mango candy, drinks... ANYTHING mango. Something about it makes me nauseous. 🤢 Speaking of mango, though, have you tried the Mango Guava Pure Zero yet? They used to be a rare sight, but, lately I've been seeing tons of them everywhere.
Having always been a huge monster fan since my early teens, i tried my first Reign when i was 19, 2 years ago haha, and since then Reign has become my new go-to. I almost completely agree with your rankings! The only one i would change is the Lemon hbz, and maybe put sour apple on number 1 :D
The cherry limeade flavor actually kinda disappointed me, honestly...I was hoping it would be closer to the Cherry Blade flavor from Bang, but I think the flavor Reign has for that is just too intense. :(
The Cherry Limeade was one of the most different cherry limeades I ever had so I can see why some people definitely wouldnt like it. Not your typical cherry limeade.
I agree with the sour apple as my #1! I tasted it once and I was hooked! It's very difficult to nail the ape flavor but Reign did very well. Also, I noticed as the video kept going on the caffeine was kicking in and you were getting really juiced up! Hahaha

Fantastic video as always CM! I am slowly trying every energy drink that I can get my hands on.. but I can't help that 90% of the drinks in my fridge are C4. C4 has really perfected their flavors. But Reign and Ghost are killing it too! Here is a tough question, and if you can't answer, I understand. If you were forced to pick just 1 energy drink.. just 1 brand and 1 flavor.. that you had to drink forever, what would it be? For me, so far it would have to be C4 Peach Mango Nectar. :) A close 2nd would be C4 Icy Blue Razz.
My tastes constantly change. If you watch my top 20 videos in October and December, they do tend to get switched around. I like pina coladas, bluecrazz, peach, fruity drinks, but each day I’m drinking something different. I can’t ever imagine a week where I’d drink the same drink more than 3 times a week. I’m constantly rotating…unlike my wife who will drink the same drink every days for months until she gets sick of it. C4 and Ghost are my top 2 choices. As much as I’d like to say Swedish fish, it would be too much candy each day. C4 peach might work or 3D chrome.

I haven't had several of the flavors in quite a while, but based on memory and my opinions at the time, I'd probably go (from best to worst): Lemon HDZ, White Gummy Bear, Mang-O-Matic, Razzle Berry, Lilikoi Lychee, Peach Fizz, Sour Apple, Cherry Limeade, Orange Dreamsicle, Strawberry Sublime, Melon Mania, Carnival Candy.

One of your best videos CM!! Your favorites are so similar to mine, as Mang-o-Matic and Lilikoi Lychee were my top two flavors (have not tried the Sour Apple yet, but will have to find it now). It certainly looked difficult to restrain yourself from drinking too much, but you obviously have a high caffeine tolerance. I noticed you drop a New England accent at the 11:12 - 11:14 mark (I'm a native New Englander too, Connecticut born)!

I'm from Chicagoland. For some reason lately, it's been sooooo hard to find the Carnival Candy and Sour Apple flavors. Is this just my area or have others seen this too???
I think the Carnival Candy has been discontinued. The Sour Apple is no longer being sold in stores but is still available for purchase online.

Hope all is well Caffeine Man, Nova Scotia Canada is slowly getting better for Reign. Our Reign has 180mg of Caffeine which I wish was 200mg but still better than 300mg.
We are still hurting on flavour options but now have the heavy hitters: Lychee, Dreamsicle, Razzle, Sour Apple, Melon and Lemon HDZ. Things are getting better and Coca-Cola is slowly getting better at pushing these flavours out.

Well, you do have a decent amount more than other countries. I heard some countries only have 4 of the original 6 drinks released. No new flavors.

They contain 180mg of caffeine here in Canada. I think it's a good amount and doesn't feel bad about having 2 in a day.

Bang and reign have been a staple in my life the last years. I typically go for bang more but I feel reign has way smoother taste. Sour apple has got to be my favorite from reign but it’s so hard to chose.

Yeah, I mean, you really need to like sour flavors to like the sour apple. I was surprised I liked it. As for Mango and Lychee... Lychee is a MUST try, just for its uniqueness... and Mango, well, just because its my favorite!

Wow they're like about $3 at the convenience store but of course the convenience stores are always more expensive, but I have a I get reward discounts loyalty reward , so I'll buy a whole bunch of it and then I put in my ID number and it knocks off about a dollar on each one

Agreed! They need to get on that. I heard die to corona there have been can shortages and other problems so hopefully they clear that up. Monster themselves have been getting drinks slightly quicker in the UK based on what Ive heard and that was one of their goals in their 2020 annual report.

There are several different articifical sweetener options, but most energy drinks tend to use Sucralose and Ace K (Acesulfame Potassium). Sucralose is 700 times sweeter than sugar and is also considered the main ingredient in Splenda. Thanks for the shout-out! Appreciate it!
I freaking love reign. Tried bang but it doesnt do anything to ME. I primarily use it as a workout drink and it definitely works, and not to mention that their flavors are great !

Yeah its maybe the best lineup out there. The only drinks close on taste are probably Ashoc and 3D. After having alot of Reign, Bang tastes watered down and chemically.

reign has my favorite blue raspberry flavor out of all the different energy drink companies out there to make a blu raz flavor, i remember having the bang blue raz and it was actually awful imo it had a weird chemical taste almost like paint, reign's blue raz is definitely far far cleaner tasting and it has a genuinely pleasant sweetness that is just right, its not too syrupy and not too mild its got a perfect balance on the sweetness to make it candy-like
Reign came out of the gates strong when they were released. They looked at what Bang was doing and tweaked everything to try and make it just a little bit better. The debate always continues in my comments as to which is better, Bang or Reign. Looks like you are team Reign!
@@CaffeineMan1 yes lol even tho there are a few flavors of bang that i like flavor wise, im definitely a reign stan thru and thru, im also a huge fan of ghost because they are doing some kind of sweetener sorcery to get such refreshing and sweet flavors XD that is something that i look for myself when testing different energy drink flavors is i think to myself "does this flavor have any bad chemically aftertaste or is it overall clean and pleasant?" I think that is a good fundamental question to ask oneself whenever comparing and rating energy drinks
we just got the peach fizz here now to and its like my 2nd best or 3rd from reign then orange ice--- is my nr 1. i hate green apple so .... bottom. and think the lemon is amazing.

Great list! Lemon Headz, Razzleberry, Sour Apple and Cherry Limeade are my top favorites. Mango Matic and Orange Dreamsicle on the bottom. I'm not a big orange fan but i'am a big mango fan but Mango Matic is not very good. All the ones in between are really good as well! I actually really enjoy Strawberry Sublime

This is great. I love how you ranked all of these flavors. When I first tried these a long time ago there were certain flavors I did not like as much but as time has gone by I have tried some of them again and those ones I did not like as much I have started to like more so now. Your rating of these drinks is not bad but my list would be just a little different. 1. Sour apple 2. Melon Mania 3. Lilikoi Lychee 4. Peach Fizz 5. Mang-O-Matic 6. Lemon HDZ 7. Razzelberry 8. Cherry limeade 9. White Gummy Bear 10. Orange Dreamsicle 11. Strawberry Sublime 12. Carnival Candy. Since you had all of these drinks it would have been nice if you could have done another video of you mixing all of these flavors together like you have done with some of the brand drinks. It would be nice to see what all of these flavors would taste like all mixed together.

Unfortunately, the 3D Gold wasn't there. They had a bunch of the Liberty Pop on the top two shelves, obviously for cashing in on the upcoming holiday. Beneath them was the red (punch), blue (berry), green (citrus), and white (frost). Hopefully more flavors will show up later, or perhaps your Target will carry different flavors.
As for my Reign list, I really wanted to like the Sour Apple, but the flavor was overdone, way too strong, in my opinion.
And, mango flavors always get last place because I really don't like the taste of mango. I don't like the fruit, don't like mango candy, drinks... ANYTHING mango. Something about it makes me nauseous. 🤢
Speaking of mango, though, have you tried the Mango Guava Pure Zero yet? They used to be a rare sight, but, lately I've been seeing tons of them everywhere.

Having always been a huge monster fan since my early teens, i tried my first Reign when i was 19, 2 years ago haha, and since then Reign has become my new go-to. I almost completely agree with your rankings! The only one i would change is the Lemon hbz, and maybe put sour apple on number 1 :D

The cherry limeade flavor actually kinda disappointed me, honestly...I was hoping it would be closer to the Cherry Blade flavor from Bang, but I think the flavor Reign has for that is just too intense. :(
The Cherry Limeade was one of the most different cherry limeades I ever had so I can see why some people definitely wouldnt like it. Not your typical cherry limeade.

Fantastic video as always CM! I am slowly trying every energy drink that I can get my hands on.. but I can't help that 90% of the drinks in my fridge are C4. C4 has really perfected their flavors. But Reign and Ghost are killing it too! Here is a tough question, and if you can't answer, I understand. If you were forced to pick just 1 energy drink.. just 1 brand and 1 flavor.. that you had to drink forever, what would it be? For me, so far it would have to be C4 Peach Mango Nectar. :) A close 2nd would be C4 Icy Blue Razz.
My tastes constantly change. If you watch my top 20 videos in October and December, they do tend to get switched around. I like pina coladas, bluecrazz, peach, fruity drinks, but each day I’m drinking something different. I can’t ever imagine a week where I’d drink the same drink more than 3 times a week. I’m constantly rotating…unlike my wife who will drink the same drink every days for months until she gets sick of it. C4 and Ghost are my top 2 choices. As much as I’d like to say Swedish fish, it would be too much candy each day. C4 peach might work or 3D chrome.
