"I mean, I did better than them in qualifying" (misses braking point 1 second later) "I'll probably pit soon since I'm in traffic/draft train" (the 2 cars in front collide the second you finish that sentence) and "Maybe I'll stay behind him since he was keeping up with me" (the guy in front spins in the next corner)
Haha. It wasn't a race that went as I predicted for sure. I was clearly struggling in traffic and was only bringing my hot laps to the table this time. I simply needed more practice, especially around tire cutover, on track is no place to make those decisions (though I'll still end up in that spot plenty of times haha). Oh well. On to Indy Road, a track I'm not particularly fast at. Hoping the practice I'm getting in helps.
