There is not one bad song on the entire album. The album displays Slash's versatility to play any style of music with any singer of any era. This particular song caught me off guard, I dug it from the first time I heard it and still enjoy it every time I hear it.
This song is awesome and it gives this sad feeling. Slash also had a sick ass guitar solo in the part and he played the rest of the song in a slow steady tune. Rock on, Slash! and you too, Adam and Maroon 5.

I can totally see why Adam was featured on this track.... Watching multiple videos on the making of this record, and the way Slash selected the various vocalists for the catalogue of compositions that he accumulated was spot on! He carefully selected each and every one of them perfectly in my opinion. Although this album is without fault, to me this is the best song, which is by no means the slightest slouch to every other....
he even changes his playing style and tone to suit each vocalist he worked with, I'm sure he wrote this song with adam in mind and did the same with many of his other collaborative projects
