fun fact ( NO SPOILERS INCLUDED ): the weapon toji used here is the Special Grade Cursed Tool: Playful Cloud, formerly used by Geto against Yuta in the movie, the weapon fits Toji so well because the weapon itself has no innate curse technique or specific cursed ability, instead the damage and the strength of Playful Cloud depends on the strength of its user, in this case both Toji and Maki having insane strength thanks to their heavenly pact, utilizes this curse weapon efficiently

Yea, Jogo was probably the strongest for many years(8-9 Sukuna fingers) he doesn't have to prove himself to anyone(except Gojo and Sukuna, but they're God's basically). Also, Jogo said something about him wanting Mahito to get stronger than him. So he isn't even greedy for power, my guy is a Man with good principles (for a curse spirit).
