    ABOUT ME:
    Thanks for visiting my channel, I hope you enjoyed the video! I founded Caterpillar Cross Stitch in 2015 when I tried desperately for months to find a modern baby sampler my mum could stitch for new baby Felicity that would fit in with her simple, contemporary nursery. I love cross stitch, running, baking fruit cakes, drinking gin, eating salted caramel ice cream and most crafts!
    See you soon and happy stitching! Sally x

    Thanks Ford! I never considered blanket stitching the felt on the back, I'm definitely going to use this finish in the future!

    I have some fusible felt. Would that work if I put a couple of layers of batting at the back of the work?

    • @SonovaStitch
      @SonovaStitch 3 месяца назад

      It would work to cover it, yes. One of the advantages of sewing the felt on is that it holds the work tight on the hoop, which I suspect fusible felt might not do quite as well.
