I thought I killed my ponytail plant by leaving it in the rainy last spring. When the summer came I left it to fend for itself and by the fall new growth started so, uhm, I took it back inside for the winter and it's doing great now.
Hi I just repotted mine, it was root bound and I noticed when I took it out I had originally planted the bulb to deep. I repotted it but lifted it up higher. I also misted the roots they were dry. Hopefully she makes it.
I bought a pony tail palm It had been flip out of it's pot put back in pot. Thru a little time it has lost its ponytails except for one what am I doing wronge is it going to die. I also have it in my kitchen is that a bad place to be
Thank you for the tips. I believe I need to repotting my ponytail plant, the pot I chose way to big , and also why are some leaves turning brown? What can cause this problem?
Sometimes it just happens, or it could be underwatered or getting to much sun, it could also be stress, or if it’s the lowest leaves that are turning brown then it’s totally natural.

Misting the pony-tailed palms does help. It prevents brown tips on the lower leaves. I shuck off any dying leaves on the bottom as they die. 🪴
Great info! Thank you for a super presentation!

Does it have to sit directly in front of the window! I have a corner by a window and it gets good light
I recently bought a ponytail and it came with some green stuff at the base of the plant. Pretty but should I remove it?
Nice
How can we avoid the tree getting fatter in height?
It is much more beautiful when the bottom is spherical and the top is a thin tree.

Can you use a grow light on these?
I have mine under a grow light and it’s doing really great!
How much does a ponytail palm run on the two sizes you have in front of you?
I saw one at Lowe’s yesterday about this size for $64
