Surf Explore : à la conquête des Philippines !

Cette semaine, Riding Zone vous emmène aux Philippines pour suivre le collectif Surf EXPLORE, spécialisé dans la recherche de vagues inconnues et la découverte des derniers spots vierges de la planète surf. Ce groupe est composé du photographe professionnel américain John Callahan, du longboardeur et écrivain britannique Sam Bleakley, du surfeur italien et expert météo Emiliano Cataldi, et du surfeur-aventurier Erwan Simon, originaire de Bretagne. Direction l’île de Samar pour suivre ces quatre explorateurs dans cette nouvelle aventure, avec des images incroyables !
Riding Zone est le seul magazine français de la TNT dédié aux sports extrêmes, à la glisse et aux cultures alternatives. Produite par Puzzle Media et présentée par TIGA, l'émission est diffusée depuis septembre 2007 chaque week end sur France Ô.

There is plenty wonderful waves in Samar and in the rest of philippines. I have been there many times, i use to surf alone or with some cool people. please stop talking about surf in philippines and showing footages, i would like to surf there with my son in the future without the bad behaviour and mentality we can see in many places in the world. keep this place as cool as you find it, stop the surf business.

That first spot is ridiculously shallow! Very dangerous. I wouldn't even surf there for fear of getting raked over the sharp volcanic reef.

John Callahan go and advertise your own spots . Locals have been surfing this spot for over 15 years and never posted a pic on internet. Next time your in Samar youll be taking that camera home in pieces.
