Is there only a squat toilet inside? That's all we had in the village house until we did up a bathroom. Fortunately bathrooms very simple all concrete with a large tub to hold the water, concrete rings as the septic tank and only 100 baht to empty it, probably more now.
The driveway scene at the end was so cute. Andrew looks like so much fun and he and I are on the same page with that field rat! That thing would need LOTS of pepper! 😖
Gotta at least give it a try when the opportunity is there. Tough dinner with the twins Renee, them playing with the twins on the road was amazing and gave me the opportunity to eat some food

Imagine if they tried to build a pop up toilet in Melbourne, it wouldn't be ready until Christmas 2029 😂. The venue will be beautiful especially with the sun rising so early in the morning. That meal to quote your mum did look "bloody beautiful". Andrew at the end ❤

Hilarious. what a thumb nail. with the icecream and faces.. ahhahhhaah.. All the toys. and it came down to two buckets and stones.. Good fun. no rat please I am full.
You can train to use chopsticks by just tying a rubber band around the end that’s towards you, not the food end. Training chopsticks (made of silicon) for kids are sold like this, with the ends joined. Makes it easier for beginners to grip the food while learning the motions. A few minutes of practise and you can pull the band off, they won’t even notice the difference.
I love eating field rats too Ricky, nothing wrong with that at all, just adjust your mindset. Also they have rats in the South which live in the coconut trees and eat mainly coconuts, they taste nice too.
They grill up really nice like a nice BBQ chicken. Just a little more chewy to eat i reckon, but nothing wrong at all mate. Just a cultural difference for us Westerners, love you sharing it Rob
