No joke, the super blended paint job on this one really made it look like one of your illustrations brought to life. Maybe it is. Maybe you just willed it into existence, Barbie-as-Rapunzel style. Maybe you’re just that powerful now. (Also, the redwall music bit cracked me up)

The mushroom tutorial (especially the flatter ones that tend to grow on logs) was really helpful. I've been painting more textured things, and bark is always fun, but it's pretty simple, so adding mushrooms to a mossy bark painting will up my game a lot.
Fairy maximalism is honestly my goal aesthetic for everything in my life.
Ok, this looks like a lantern that would guide you to a fantasy forest populated with weird creatures and fairies you'll never escape and I am all there for it. Your maximalist brain just comes up with the most insane and interesting ideas.
The end result is AGGRESSIVELY enchanted. Would lure travelers to fairyland, but they won't even be mad about it.

I love this! The bright colors of the moths and mushrooms just POPS against the dark haunted look of the lantern itself, and together they create something amazing! I love all the stuff you make, but the projects lately that've involved sculpting have been particularly fun. And congrats on getting that airbrush!! I'm glad it lived up to expectations!

If you have any left over spray paint cans, what if you made them into little lanterns with shapes in them? Like, cut out shapes of moths, stars, clouds, etc. and paint the outside to make it look pretty. AND, you can put LEDs in them :)

I clean and repurpose frames. After breaking many a pane of glass I started using an old fluffy towel to lay the glass on to clean it. Works great and I haven't broken one since.
I am also a corvid-brained multimedia artist... and this has created a GREAT hankering for more magical looking decor! Whenever I go thrift shopping, I often gravitate towards things that make my friends and family go "Don't buy that, it looks cursed" though it has yet to stop me >:)

It's over the top, but sometimes we need a little over the top! It's still amazing and I love what you did with it. Also the broken glass you had felt like it added to it rather then take away. That little mistake made it feel like it was a forgotten piece more since normally Glass wouldn't stay all neat and tidy after a long while. Like the vines broke it as they made this their home.
