You making a mushroom lamp and Rachel Maksy just recently turning herself into a lamp are definitive signs from the universe that I now have to make a lamp.
@@-licorice-1229 I’ve never fully crafted per se but make forts and structures using stuff around the house or tried to make a car like in the little rascals with my younger brother 🤭😂❤️
Id love to see her do that, Im pondering making my toilet inside a treestumpmaking the top like a lid so it would just look like a treestump when not in use :)
I loved this! Have you considered making a bed canopy or curtains that look like spanish moss? Or a rug that looks like the pelt of a fantasy creature? Like a dragon or a griffin? Or a logshaped umbrella holder for your staffs and weapons?
I was going to suggest she make something like the medieval bed canopy that Morgan Donner made recently… I was trying to think something smaller but the wires to hold it up aren’t expensive except they need to be installed in the walls and ceiling.
The Executive Producer deserves something a little whimsical methinks; what if she received a house in the shape of a tree stump, or even a humble bushel of a forest to relax in after a very long day of inspecting the stage and making sure everything is up to code for the studio audience
Here is a suggestion that may or may not be of use for you for next time. Those candelabra light strands have a finite lifespan. If you make your mushroom stems hollow, you can insert the light cords and build a little "door" so that when the cord dies you can replace it. Your fairy lights are also going to need to be replaced at some point. Making them easily removable so they can be replaced when needed ups the value of your piece. Putting all that work into something only to have pieces of it die one by one sucks. I learned that the hard way. Lol!! Love your finished lamp .
I have seen moss/ puddle looking rugs floating around on Pinterest where it is layered tiers making it 3D. The base would be blue and greens would be layered around it making it look like a lil puddle.
I noticed the metal frame the rests on the colored light bulbs were attached with hot glue. You might want to change that bc metal conducts heat and the got glue might loosen over time with use. This lamp is really cool 😎
Good point! Having the glue heat up and drip over all her hard work would be so sad, in addition to the lamp shade potentially getting burnt from landing directly on the bulb
the video was awesme !! for a future project maybe some kind of patchwork curtain with fabric scraps or to look like a leaf canopy of sorts? the leaves would almost make the light green in a way and i feel like it would look super cool! like a beaded curtain but with leaves lol
Mimic (dnd) storage would be so fitting and awesome!! Whether a chest or drawers, with maybe the tongue as a handle, u could add LED to the eyes… oh it’d be so cool
I actually doing this exact thing with an old chest we are using for toys for my kids currently. When I get my d&d room (room in the attic) cleaned up and done the chest is going up there. Lol
Love the video as per usual! The "I want logs everywhere" joke really got to me - the cuts to enrtyways and bathrooms w/ logs cracks me up. In terms of another project idea, I think something hanging would be cool. An abandoned and overgrown birdcage or those big branches that people hang plants and dried flowers from? Whatever you make, I look forward to it!

Ok, so I have a couple ideas that can match with the mirror and lamp. Number one, bookends. They would look so cool like on a bookshelf or just like on your desk. Number two, tiny little stumps with mushrooms that can just be little decorations. You can even add a candle to them. Number three, the final one, a shelf. It can have wood texture and all sorts of little forestry bits thrown on it, but it could also be functional and it would super cool. This turned out absolutely gorgeous and I am so pleased to see it! Maybe shelf mushrooms for your walls? Or for a break from mushrooms I'd love to see something with ferns, maybe curly fern coat cooks or something? I've also seen people do moss rugs with yarn which could be cool!
I really enjoy "making xy out of scraps/trash" kind of crafting videos, so I'm excited to see more of them. How about some fantasy creature decor? Like a dragon that winds aroung the upper edge of a bookshelf or something. The lamp looks amazing btw. I love lamps and this and Rachel's video make me so happy haha. 💡🍄
Tagging myself as the dragon lamp, although I've always related to the burlesque lamp that my ex's dad owns. A really pretty deep red balloon shade with black fringe, but the body of the lamp was sculpted to look like legs wearing fishnet stockings and heels. 10/10 impeccable vibes
For your consideration: seashell journal with a mermaidcore/ kind of victorian aesthetic that looks like its been at the bottom of the ocean for hundreds of years. I made one last year and bookbinding with found objects is so fun!
i remember seeing on pinterest a while ago these seat covers that looked like different bugs on the back (my favorite was the one that looked like a beetle that was all shiny and stuff) and i think that that kind of idea is such a good cottagecore-whimsigoth combo that i would love to see you make !!!!
You could decorate a vase or flower pot so that it looks like a log that's sprouting some flowers/other plants. Alternatively i would love to see more turtles as planters. My brother 3D printed me a desert tortoise and she has succulents on her shell :)
A portable dragon light: Basically a dragon figurine, but you open its mouth to reveal the lightbulb. Legs allow it to stand, and a flexible neck directs light where you need it. Switch + batteries located on the stomach.
For some reason, the first thing that popped into my mind was like a chest recovered from the sea covered in barnacles and stuff, might help with storage too
Oh wow! Like a mysterious dusky forest view, or the sun shining through the spring leaves of a tree... 😍 I have nowhere near the electrical knowhow required to do this project safely, but I WANT!! 🥰
Clicked on the video to see how to make a much wanted lamp, subscribed when I saw you using a dagger as a mic holder. My kind of neutral chaos. Thank you.
This lamp is so beautiful I love it 😭. Also, I can just imagine every time you work outside your neighbors are like 'there goes that girl Kira again. She always crafting something odd' 😂
I’ve always had the dream of painting my ceiling to look like a starry sky, maybe with some kind of frame looking thing lining the ceiling so it looks like I hung a painting from my ceiling but it lets me gaze into the vastness of the cosmos

I would love to see like hanging moss or tree branches from the ceiling and walls. You can add more of the hot glue mushrooms to it too (I'm obsessed with those). Could also look at like weeping willows, wisteria, weeping cherry blossom trees with like lunar moths that you could somehow glow. I just have like a picture of a hedgewitch hobble for your room now.
Picture frames, coasters, small LED mushroom/butterfly lamps, "rock and wood" scultpures, small containers, bookends; there's a million little things you could build with the scraps you've collected and a buyer/collector for every one of them.
i dont know if you made characters based on moths but you might want to look into it. all of the moths are so beautiful. or you could make a moth inspired outfit
something I've always loved is those little diorama type things but specifically ones where you're looking through glass into a scene. I have memories of this storybook theme park I went to as a kid where you walk through a bunch of alice in wonderland themed large displays like this in a dark tunnel. Always wanted something like that in my house lol
The algorithm has decided to show me how others make mushroom lights and naught else on this day. Your creative use of foam and DIY Perks electronic know-how and use of silicone caulk seem like some kind of marriage of styles which could be absolutely brilliant.
Just under 2 minutes in and I had to pause to say OMG your makeup is perfection!!! The mushroom design (freckles?) on your face, collar bone, and shoulders is such a fun idea/look.
Every time someone upcycles garbage, a sea turtle breathes a deep sigh of relief. Upcycle all the things. (PS I'm not an environmentalist, but sea turtles were more relevant than fairy wings.)

4 posts for the bed in mushroom theme to match ur forest mirror and lamp. U can then hang lace and vines around it to make a canopy,😊😅 and literally look like u live in the forest. Woot woot! Love the mirror and lamp. So creative and awesome.
the opaque smaller shrooms match so well cause their light shines down and isnt always visible (at least in video) and the light from the big shroom isnt fighting with them and reflects off the top :D
I am the bluebell-like flower lamp! I literally told my grandma that I wanted her two lamps - a tall one similar to the picture and one for ceiling - that are the exact same lamp with light green flowers when I was still a child. Had the ceiling one in my room for several years and I will bring them to my own apartment some day.
I would love to see you make some kind of glowing magic crystal fixture, like crystals coming out of a headboard or as a frame of an art piece, or maybe turning a desktop waterfall decoration into a fairy pond/garden. Your creations are always so incredible!
according to cultist simulator, moth is the aspect of passion and light. a moth flew around my apartment the other day and for once i didn't immediately try to kill it. i think it was a sign. now i'm watching this lovely video! another amazing project. you should be very proud of yourself!
this is the third custom lamp video i've seen this week from different people i enjoy... this is definitely a sign that i need to go thrift and decorate a lamp
You holding your mic on, and talking to, a dagger...Kickass. haha! Love the little sense of humor bits in here too. The lamp came out so amazing! TALENTED!!!
You could do little moss scapes in various places in your room, like have it 'growing' off a corner of a shelf or desk or in a ceiling corner. They could have various insect/fairy/smol animal wildlife attached to each place. You could make empty plastic cups or shower product bottles into hanging flower pots that look like rocks, you could do scrap mosaics on the wall to look like a tree trunk in different places and use different scraps as the foliage or vines to string fairy lights around the room...you could make larger plastic containers like from laundry soap into little storage bins my stacking them together in a row and making them look like a rock or boulder or tree stumps.
Canopy over your bed, fairy lights of course, made from lace and hanging flowers. Some branches?like a tree is your bed canopy. This is something I am currently working on for my room. As well as a big fairy mirror for myself and my mom. Id not thought of a lamp before but now.. yes. I absolutely need it.
I am BLOWN AWAY by how incredible this turned out!! Wow!! 🤩🤩 I too am such a fan of weird lamps and lamps-that-don't-look-like-lamps (I have an especially soft spot for the flower lamps that look like tulip bulbs or lillies; my grandmother had 5 of them in her old place that always felt so magical). Kudos for doing such an incredible job here!! Sidenote: your comments about making things out of trash reminded me of another RUclipsr, Studson Studio! He makes miniatures/dioramas out of trash and broken junk, and I think you'd like his vibe.
Obsessed!!!! How about... like a "haunted forest fantasy chair"? You could make forest shadow boxes with little worlds from old books and cardboard boxes and even add thrifted vintage frames to the outside! You're sooo talented at this! You could make all these things and sell them, create your own fantasy world with all sorts of fantasy decor from "trash" and old thrifted crap! 😂 good luck!
I absolutely love the lamp!it looks amazing and I like the mushrooms!also You could make mini different colour fire decorations like you could just have fire on your desk but it’s not actually fire if that makes sense-
This creation is ALL kinds of amazeballz! And, watching your process was definitely enthralling and inspirational. You are also partially responsible for enabling a hoarder of “not garbage… I can make something with that!” This video has earned you a new subscriber!
I think a hat/coat rack that looks like an oversized plant could be really cool. Could do a long-stemmed plant like foxglove or maybe a fern with unfurling fronds? Or maybe those lily/bell shaped flowers like those fancy lamps but much bigger. Pretty and useful! Would make me feel like a tiny sprite in a forest. 🌿💛
I want to see you make a Fairy Garden town but maybe out of scrap things? You can make the garden on a flat spot or make a 'mountain' out of rocks and mushrooms to fill in a area.
Love your creativity and videos! You asked for suggestions and I see that you have gone full circle and are now crafting woodland animals which is great. Once you feel like moving on again, may I suggest that you take a walk OUT of the woods and onto the shore. Either lake or a beach there is an abundance of creatures that may entice you. After that there is the sky and space! 😳 This could easily be a lifetime plan! What are you really find? Interesting is producing figures. From old time, legends and folklore, and most of them involve woodlands. Keep doing what you’re doing because you’re doing it so well! ♥️

this is the third custom lamp video i've seen this week from different people i enjoy... this is definitely a sign that i need to go thrift and decorate a lamp
You holding your mic on, and talking to, a dagger...Kickass. haha! Love the little sense of humor bits in here too. The lamp came out so amazing! TALENTED!!!
A mushroom microphone would be pretty badass to make!
I think a huge dream catcher would be so you! You can do anything with them and they are so pretty!
You could do little moss scapes in various places in your room, like have it 'growing' off a corner of a shelf or desk or in a ceiling corner. They could have various insect/fairy/smol animal wildlife attached to each place. You could make empty plastic cups or shower product bottles into hanging flower pots that look like rocks, you could do scrap mosaics on the wall to look like a tree trunk in different places and use different scraps as the foliage or vines to string fairy lights around the room...you could make larger plastic containers like from laundry soap into little storage bins my stacking them together in a row and making them look like a rock or boulder or tree stumps.
ahhh I am speechless. this is stunning and so realistic 🍄😍lamps out of trash needs to be a series!!
The tiny mushroom lights at the end are absolutely delightful!
That mushroom lamp is legit by the way! I'd love to see it in an eclectic home. I bet it looks great!
I am BLOWN AWAY by how incredible this turned out!! Wow!! 🤩🤩
I too am such a fan of weird lamps and lamps-that-don't-look-like-lamps (I have an especially soft spot for the flower lamps that look like tulip bulbs or lillies; my grandmother had 5 of them in her old place that always felt so magical).
I love how just every single project is 'I really hate doing this but I just keep going'
Snail lamp. I adore your mushroom lamp!
Plant curtains! Ivy, other hanging plants, hanging lichen.
This could easily be a lifetime plan!
What are you really find? Interesting is producing figures. From old time, legends and folklore, and most of them involve woodlands.
Keep doing what you’re doing because you’re doing it so well!
♥️
I am OBSESSED with your talent, resourcefulness, and creativity
